  1. Ok. I’m usually down there every Saturday and for events as I am a member of the Transportation Heritage Commission. We last took the buses to the SEPTA Roadeo
  2. Have you ever gone down on a Saturday to Lakewood when they open the garage and have the old buses out?
  3. Hi Frankie12345 Can you do one with the Nassau street setup except instead of 9 Avenue/Bay Pkwy for the , use “To Coney Island weekdays” please? Thanks
  4. Meanwhile Rockland Coaches, and Trans-Bridge still haven’t gotten theirs yet. But then again Suburban and Academy are still running around with older MCIs so I’m guessing that’s going to be a later order for them...
  5. 8710 (former Lakeland MCI D4000) is at Wallington, NJ presumably for Saddle River Service. 4 D4000s are on standby for Lakeland, 8704, 8713, 8755, & 8758 with one D4500, 8761. All of Lakeland's MCI D4500CTs have been delivered 17186-17240
  6. I dread the day a 9 month pregnant woman gets on my bus and her water broke. That would be the absolute worst case scenario ever for me...
  7. I'd almost feel insulted if they wanted to try that on an MCI as VG8 had witnessed. You'd laugh/sneer, but like the earlier point made "give an inch-they take a mile", there's just no telling anymore. Homo Sapiens are capable of anything 🙄
  8. Open strollers on Buses. B35, VG8, and the like have already expressed their feelings and I as a bus driver share that (although I work on the oppo side of the Hudson). Trainmaster hit it right on the head too. SAFETY, SAFETY, SAFETY. God forbid that op has to slam brakes and that stroller is not secured (what I mean is strapped down like we do the wheelchairs, but that's just not gonna happen). Another Armchair Quarterback with a misguided dream of contributing to society. To quote my Drill Sergeant from Basic Training: "Not only no, but hell no"
  9. And on top of that, they still haven't fixed the Morris Ave Bridge there
  10. What's going on with the Gladstone Branch? Every time I turn around, they're randomly shutting it down?
  11. Drove by the Allison facility on 287 in Piscataway. No new buses at this time. @davemackey, do you know offhand who's next to get theirs?
  12. Lakeland's MCI D4500CT buses 17186-17240 have been delivered. We will be keeping a few of the old D4000s, 8705, 8710, 8713, 8733, 8758 and one D4500, 8761
  13. Heads up. 17240 has been delivered to Lakeland, the last bus of our order. Now, let's see what happens from here on out
  14. Well, the way it usually goes (with MCIs at least), the private carriers get first dibs making them somewhat a test subject when NJT Proper gets around to getting their orders
  15. Yes, those buses came Saturday I believe. I got a few of those shots myself (probably from R36 Coach, who I always seem to miss lol). And yes, we are expecting 3 more buses and that should do it for us. BTW, we are keeping 4 of the D4000s and 1 D4500, 8761
  16. Spectre I would like a sign Queens To Far Rockaway Via JFK Airport. PM Rush also to Rckwy Pk. Other times for Rockaway Park change at Broad Channel To Lefferts Blvd all times. Thanks
  17. We had to send a couple back to Blackwood to work some bugs out
  18. Didn't know about the site registration being down there. Sheesh
  19. But the R188 program would've solved that problem. On another note: when the was discontinued, how many of the R62As did that free up?
  20. I would've used the 142/As definitely for the , , and the . The had mix 62As and Redbirds, so the 142s could've gone there too. BTW, what was the total order of R142/A cars?
