  1. That's why you need to resync to Dyre Ave right after you load the program, and then the stops will play correctly.
  2. I don't think the has a 241-180 program, but it does have a 241-149 program and if you have an especially detailed-oriented C/R, they can load that one and just skip out all of the stops past 180. Going N/B, just load the 149-241 program and resync to 180.
  3. Yes they do. Buses overlap trains by about an hour in order to prevent confusion. And GO's start late all the time.
  4. No, that's the same text they've always had. Who said anything about railfanning becoming illegal??? On another note, I really wish the NYPD would enforce THIS one more: Interference with Movement: $100 Fine Riders are not allowed to obstruct movement of trains by means of preventing subway doors from closing, activating the emergency brake cord in a non-emergency or other interference that will create delays or accidents. I can count on one hand the number of arrests I've seen a police officer give for a door holder on one of my trains.
  5. Oh god, do not let them train you on the R32s in ENY. Those are sitting there for a reason!
  6. Yes, you're wasting your time. Put down the beer and find yourself another career in a non safety-sensitive title.
  7. Where did it say the or were running local? It's probably a switch or signal problem south of 125 which is causing trains to run slower through that area, so they are cutting back the number of S/B trains coming down.
  8. I feel so old now. There was no such thing as BSC when I started.......
  9. Wow, when I did 3rd rail jumpers and other-than-head-car operation at 207, we used R32s. I guess there's some sort of tradition of doing that day on the opposite division's equipment?
  10. Wait, so there is a 188 at Unionport? Ooooh so the 188's MIGHT be coming to the !!!!! Which mean the might keep some of their 62As, which means the might get to keep their 142A's! SPECULATION!!!!!!
  11. When it comes to safe train operation, STOP is a pretty damn important part!!!!!
  12. It's the R62 (NOT the R62A) that was previously running on the line. Yes, it's running on the .
  13. I love this forum. You'll believe misinformation in the NY Post, but if a member reports something, everyone demands PROOF before they'll believe it. Those signs in the Pelham crew room which state "All T/Os must bring their brake handle to work every day" are proof enough that something's about to happen.
  14. You realize the is NOT even a real line - it's just the doing limited stops. What purpose does having the not start at Broad St serve??
  15. Saw the T/O schoolcar yet AGAIN on Friday at Bedford Park. They even followed me down the road.....
  16. The R46's are my favorite equipment in the B-Div to work. Then again, I still haven't worked the 32/42/68/68A on the road yet but somehow I doubt I'll like those more.
  17. Kinda hard to call something traditional when the program has only been around for a year.....
  18. MLK, Columbus and Black Friday are weekday-75 in A-Div and regular weekday in B-Div.
  19. Uniforms and all other issued gear (including the books) are TA property and you will have to return or pay for them upon promoting or resigning. The first set is free but you can order extra uniforms at your own cost from the uniform vendor (Lion?)
  20. Saw another T/O class at Kings Highway this morning. They're EVERYWHERE!!!
  21. Wow, no weekend service into Manhattan until APRIL! At least they're keeping it consistent this time, rather than picking random on and off weekends.
  22. About 90 minutes. But make it 60 and I'll buy you a beer.
  23. So who was the schoolcar class who came into the Stillwell crew room around 1230 today? I'm pretty sure they were C/Rs.
