  1. Oh ok. But it still is my first time on a married coupled set, so I'd like to take a moment and save the image I got from it.
  2. Well we both have different perspectives of what once in a lifetime is.
  3. We just started seeing the R68A run on the this summer. And very soon, maybe when the R179s appear, the R68As will no longer run on the .
  4. To me it is exclusive because how many married couples R46s can you spot on the train?( I expect them on the , but I guess anything can happen.) I mean, it's not a once in a life time exclusive like an R68A train, but you can't see married couples on most R46 trains.
  5. I rode an R46 train with MARRIED COUPLES 6218, 6216, 6240, and 6242!!!!!!! When I figure out how to put 3ds videos on the web, I'll show everyone that exclusive I caught!!!!
  6. I mean the station that was opened to replace the South Ferry loops, not a completely new one.
  7. I'm guessing it was for the R110B because in the recent roster, it dosen't show the 67' or R110B section. Idk why it existed on the roster in the first place as the R110B retired at the very beginning of the 21st century.
  8. The JoeKorner website doesn't say so. http://www.thejoekorner.com/carassignments/bmt-ind-2014-09-28.html
  9. The new South Ferry Station is planned to open sometime in 2016.
  10. Yesterday a soccer ball that one of my classmates kicked in gym class ended up on the metro north tracks..... SMH....

    1. MTA Dude

      MTA Dude

LOL! Hope it won't be the cause of the next derailment.

  11. The and are switching almost their entire fleet. The will be using mostly R62As and about 60-80 R142As while the will have the converted R142A and brand new R188s. The only other line to be affected (and it might not be permanent) is the because it sent some of it's R62As to the , requiring it to use R62s from the .
  12. What a day for the NYC subway!!!! Today, a hijacker steals a R46 from the Jamaica yard, and because he didn't know about 75 footers not allowed on the BMT Eastern Division, he gets it stuck on the between Myrtle Avenue and Central Avenue. Because of this incident, the Lenox avenue line is shut down in order to recreate the 142 street junction and not delay the downtown and uptown . Also, gang members make a base at the South Ferry loops, and the NYPD goes after them, making the loops unusable for service. The South Ferry loops are not the only loops affected. The City Hall loop is unusable due to long term construction. And to top it off, it is 1986 all over again on the Manhattan Bridge with one difference: THERE IS NO SERVICE AT ALL. Reroute or suspend the
  13. Idk why, but it's not like the train needed an 11 car set because it was just for Bloomberg and other local leaders.
  14. The MTA used an R62A 6 car set, not a 11 car set, so the train was too short to fill the entire station.
  15. Would the M106 be changed? The M96 and M106 share the same fleet and I'm pretty sure that the M106 doesn't need artics (now that it seems Tuskegee is once again a fully artic depot).
  16. You know what Javier, I have a creative mind to. It would sting to leave you hanging.. : Between 242 Street and New Lots Avenue at all times. : All local Stops : No service between 14 Street and New Lots Avenue. Replaced by : No service south of Grand Central. : Dyre Avenue shuttle only. : No service south of Grand Central. : No service west of Times Square. 42 Street : Runs 24/7 / : Rockaway Park service suspended : Suspended : Two Sections: Between Norwood and 34 Street Between Atlantic Avenue and Bay Parkway. : No service south of avenue X. / : No service west of Essex street. : No service west of Bedford Avenue. : Extended to Forest hills weekends. : Two sections: Between 34 street and Ditmars Blvd Between Court Street and Kings Highway. : No service north of Atlantic Avenue. : Suspended
  17. Service Change Posted: 9/26/2014 11:06AM Due to switch problems at Middletown Rd, northbound trains are running local from Parkchester to Pelham Bay Park. Allow additional travel time. Question: When was the last time northbound trains ran local east of Parkchester outside of weekday rush hours and evenings?
  18. If phrase 4 can't be funded, it could be possible. Just remember that the Nassau Street line use 8x60 cars and might not be able to use the line because of this.Although I seen an 75 footer on Nassau Street a few times in movies....
  19. Ok thanks. I'll explore the strip maps when I ride an R188 next time since idk why 10th Avenue would appear on the strip maps.
  20. I mean is it the R142A converted, which is a little dull and has one brand new R188 car near the drivers cab heading for Flushing? Or the ALL NEW R188, which is bright and shiny in all the cars?
  21. The same way you use the to get in the City Hall loop is the same way you can use the to get in the South Ferry inner loop: Stay inside the train.
  22. I know that too. Its because of the inclined elevators that the extension won't finish on time.
  23. I know the reason is not because of the 10th Avenue Station. I was just pointing out that it doesn't exist, and will not exist anytime soon.
