  1. WTF? What does this have to do with anything????
  2. IDK, but most times the is cut from the Manhattan Bridge, it ends at 34 Street. I'm guessing to easily connect to the .
  3. NP Rollover. NEXT: Because of weekend construction, the is suspended between 96 Street and 168 Street, the cannot use 145 Street and 148 Street to terminate, Grand Street needs to be rehabilitated, suspending the between 34 Street and Atlantic Avenue, all uptown and trains have to use the express tracks and Manhattan bridge from 36 Street to Canal Street, and both Queens Plaza and Queensboro Plaza are getting rehabilitated, which means no service in Queens, no in Manhattan, and the and lines have to be rerouted on the 63 Street line. Reroute or suspend the affected lines.
  4. The is getting really annoying now on the weekends. For the last month or so, weekend service ended at 3 Avenue - 138 Street with less frequent service to Pelham Bay Park. Also, there is at least one section where the runs express in the Bronx when this happens. Wth is wrong with the ? Does the entire Pelham line need rehabilitation and can't have as much trains on the line? As far as I know, only Zerega avenue, Buhre Avenue, and Pelham Bay Park need to be rehabilitated.
  5. makes all stops. runs express south of Penn Station and terminates at 14 St.
  6. If this person dosen't give me what I want, there are gonna be issues and someone will get hurt.

    1. RollOver

      RollOver

I always feel this way all the time, specifically the fact that my life sucks so bad that I can't even get the things that I truly want deep down inside of me. But I'll get through it, as I've always had.

I know this feeling all too well... life is pain.

  7. Most times they don't. They just slap on a green led circle for the local and the red diamond for the express. However, if they did change terminals, the t/o would switch the signs at Parkchester or Pelham Bay Park to display the correct terminal.
  8. The will still have R142As, as pointed out several times in this thread. It will have 60 R142As and will likely act like the remaining R42s in ENY.
  9. This is why the R42s are being retired before the R32s.
  10. No. It was actually because the Fulton local line was getting delayed. I figured that out in the unplanned service changes forum. I got a question. If the get extended to the Fulton Street line, could it use the NY transit museum as platforms for the line? If so, could the NY transit museum be easily relocated to a different location of would it be too difficult?
  11. Let me answer this by answering one question at a time. 1. The got R142As in the late 1990s. The R62As from the and got sent to the and the R62s from the went to the . The and got the new technology and replaced the redbirds on the line. 2. (Correct me if I am wrong) the Flushing line couldn't handle ntts in the early 2000's, so the got R62As to replace the redbirds instead. 3. The is undergoing CBTC, which could be the reason why the R143s appear on the , or exist at all. 4. The will only keep about 60 R142As, and it will likely not get changed fleetwise once all the R62As get off the .
  12. I guess that's why my train was running express and a replaced it as a local.......
  13. Today something VERY odd happened today. I rode a train making all local stops on CPW and at 125 Street, there was a train making express stops to Canal Street. When I rode the express train, 50 Street had people there and I saw an train at 42 Street. Does anyone know a reason why this would happen?
  14. Doubt it(because they are the ), but is seems like a good idea maybe email them to give them the idea. Also, how would the track it's passengers? The fare box? Sometimes, people sneak through the back and the driver doesn't even know about them. This is most common during rush hrs.
  15. I have a feeling we will reach the 7300s being delivered to Corona by Christmas lol
  16. Never trust New Yorkers, there is almost everything you can think of that could happen when you least expect it.....

  17. The B division already have it, but not for all lines. The has it like the A division, but the other lines that have train arrival signs use them in a different way. The IND Eighth avenue, IND Queens Blvd, BMT Broadway, BMT Astoria, and BMT 4th Avenue lines have at least one station with a similar function to the A division arrival signs. Instead of saying when the next train arrives, they tell you how many stations a local and/or express train is from your current station. As far as I know, the only station to say a specific line is 175th Street on the downtown train only. Edit: Apparently, another 267 B division stations are planned to be equipped with arrival signs as part of the 2015-2019 capital plan, but with the problems with the plans already, this is subject to change.
  18. That's what I mean't. The R179s were to be delivered on December 2014, but got delayed to July 2015. I actually thought they were to be delivered last summer, but I think got the dates mixed up.
  19. I was reading nydailynews, and I just found out that the first R179 is expected by July 2015, a year later than it was originally supposed to be delivered. I mean December of this year, the rest are coming Between July 2015 and January 2017.
  20. Bloomberg wanted the to extend to NJ to connect to the NJT trains easier. I think Bloomberg has a great point. But even so, how long will it take for both Bloomberg and/or your proposal to even happen? 2040s?
  21. The has enough cars to operate service, so the R142As should stay on the . The reason why I said switch fleets with the and was because there are enough R62As to operate only on the and the might need an increase in service because sometimes, when I look for R62As on the Lexington or Pelham line, there is as much as a 10 minute wait for ONE UPTOWN . But again, it would be unlikely because of yard experiences. Also, the has select rush Hour trips to/from New Lots Avenue instead of Utica Avenue, so R142s can easily switch it's signs to New Lots Avenue, but the R62as can't. Although I can see it happening at one point, something tells me this is one of the stupidest ideas I have.
  22. Why send the R142s to the 240 street yard if the yard never experienced NTTs? The will keep it's few R142As and run mostly R62As unless for some reason, the decides to do a complete fleet swap on the and which will have only R62As on the and nearly half R142 and half R142As on the . Like it was said before, any other ideas besides the and fleet swaps are VERY UNLIKELY to happen because of yard experiences.
  23. The two northern stops, St George and Tompkinville have an exit and entrance fee. All other stops are free to ride on.
