    Use the transit tracker app. When it's in service, search "23" under the tag "Track a Vehicle" and it'll track that bus. The app works so that later on whenever you tap on the bus, it'll show you where the bus is and what route it's running on if it's in service.

    It could go online in a few days, maybe in a few weeks, it varies from time to time. When #5447 first went into service it wasn't trackable until about a week or two later.

    IIRC it has something to do with traffic conditions at Queens Plaza and on the Queensboro Bridge. They don't want an artic to add more problems in those areas.

    They run during the PM rush too. They run from 6 AM to 10 AM and from 3 PM to 7 PM, starting and ending their runs at Bay Plaza and do two round trips during the AM rush and two round trips during the PM rush.
