Only if Outfront could get dimensions for the XD40’s which is about the same dimensions as the C40’s at Gleason. However, this is good for the Brooklyn Division. Too bad Ulmer Park can’t wrap their local buses since they don’t have NG’s and i think the TA doesn’t want the XD40’s wrapped. However, if the rules were different UP would be king b/c they get every wrap campaign for the express buses.
Damm. That’s quick. Bus was delivered to MCH maybe about 15 days ago and it’s being swapped to MQ. I thought the #’s were worked out or is there a limit to what MCH can hold in their garage.
Yeh that $7.75 fare on air-train is a tragedy in its self.
To me it’s a bit weird that Richmond Hill, So. Richmond Hill, So.Ozone Park and Ozone Park lack options for transportation to the airport. Yes, one may note that Q10 service can’t service everywhere and this whole and train service to the airport is complete bascura b/c u are forced to take air-train from Howard Beach, Sutphin, and or Lefferts-Aqueduct.
Im not 100% with this but can the Q37 be some sort of a savior at least to Lefferts-AirTran along with the Q9.
Ps: I’m partially glad that this B20 to the air-train has died down.
Excuse my ignorance for not acquainting any services in the South Ozone Park area. However, is there a market for the Q9 and Q40 to even stretch over to the airport or even Lefferts Boulevard-AirTrain. I don’t know if it’s overkill or what. Just let me know if I’m missing something with this.
Here’s my gripe with the current Q27. The current terminal doesn’t provide any options ala Q84 which doesn’t do anything but connect you to suburbia- Laurelton and I would think the initial goal is to connect SE Queens patrons to Jamaica -LIRR. via the Q5 thus an extension to Merrick is needed. SE Queens is practically one of the hardest transit deserts that we have and everything converges into Jamaica with no real connections via a crosstown type of bus.
I thought a while ago the Q27 was supposed to extended to Merrick Boulevard for the Q5 connection. I guess that proposal died down. However, to your point the 77 definitely sucks and carries too much air and valid for the Q27 east of Hempstead Avenue.
New driverside wrap for Brooklyn Division. So far: Flatbush, Grand Avenue and Fresh Pond NG’s are in receipt of this wrap campaign also to include Ulmer Park express buses. There has to be a way to put these on the exisiting XD40’s and also to see more wraps in the division.
For the 38.. its a mix of standards and artics on the line. The 38 needs at least 50+ to be fully artic. It could wipe out most of the NG's at GA to FP and ENY.. Since that ENY is wiping out some OG's maybe more will come down from GA.
Oh.. all were Metro Ave buses.. 3 limiteds, 3 locals. Also, if the is trying to make the 38 an all artic line. You have standards also working the line. It's good that GA got a full 42 buses for the line.. However, that count needs to be at least 50 for the line to be fully artic.
There was one day last week I've seen 6 B38 buses heading in 1 direction = Ridgewood from Downtown Brooklyn.. There is so much bunching on this line. I just guess you don't make service..
Since I used to work at JFK and worked in aircraft maintenance for Fed-Ex for the last 4 years. Favorite planes- A320/A321 Jet Blue, 777- Emirates, 777 British Airways, Delta 757/767
Cargo planes: Kalhutta, Fed-Ex 757, 767, 777, MD-10, MD11, A310.
As far as trips:
A320/A321: JetBlue. JFK-LAX, JFK-CLT, JFK-MIA, JFK-LAS and JFK-DFW.
4435: Fresh Pond now sporting a wrap. Couldn’t really catch it this morning as I was driving through Lincoln Road & Flatbush Avenue.
Since that bus came from GA my indication is that bus came to FP already wrapped from GA.
Do you realize that this could possibly change again.. and not only that MCH currently has 55 XD60's for the M15+ and possibly more coming.

Honestly, why can't people wait till the moderators get the correct information instead of creating spreadsheets on buses that a depot needs that they have NO knowledge of.. Everything changes everyday with The Metropolitan Transportation Authority in the state of New York......
