  1. Which stop is being added on Rogers Avenue? I hope it is not Foster Avenue. But also that South Brooklyn delegation isn’t playing any games with the . Took them 5 years to add Avenue R. Also took them sometime to add the Avenue L stop. Still to me. Both stops don’t have any business to be added. However, it is through that delegation shit is getting done and this is why the 44SBS won’t be a true SBS. I’ve said this before the real SBS is in Queens. #fin
  2. While were on the subject of the B44SBS.. Didn't know that a stop on Avenue R is now added.. I guess no more express between Kings Highway and Avenue U. I'm guessing this takes effect either 9/9/18 or 9/16/18. Source: https://www.kingscountypolitics.com/brooklyn-lawmakers-on-the-move-aug-28-2018/ Thoughts on the new B44SBS change?
  3. both 7628 and 7650 are in house at FB. Only missing 7627 and this would complete the FB SBS order?
  4. Or get buses from FB and Jamaica which have most of the RTS load.
  5. According to the alleged rumor, and I COULD BE WRONG (EMPHASIS) that the Q58 and B38 are being consider for artic conversion. Hopefully @East New York, @The Real or even @SevenEleven can elaborate more on this... First off do the 2 lines have the frequencies to even be considered for artic conversion? My next concern is this: The Q58 and B38 are Fresh Pond's heaviest lines and both essentially run within blocks of each other. I understand that the 38 is already split ops with Grand Avenue for the Metro branch. Hopefully, this trade doesn't fall thru. To: @BM5 via Woodhaven: I don't like the 58 & 38 going over to GA simply of the reasons you stated and I fully agree. However, if this alleged rumor is true Brooklyn Division will be a total mess for years to come. Throw in the B43 into the mix and tell me what you think about that?
  6. Mind you the Q58 runs in front of Fresh Pond. Take away the 58 and it’s gonna be screwed. I promise you that.
  7. Again, that's if the wants to really have a dog fight with Westchester and Liberty lines. My thing is that has MNRR services out in Westchester. Why not have the BxM4 extend to CCSC, get customers from Bronxville, Fleetwood Stations, Casino/Raceway. Hit down the thruway into Manhattan. All for $6.50.
  8. Please. and Please. Don’t need the 43 leaving Gleason. It does a great job on that route. I seen an artic training along the 43 not too long ago. Hopefully some spares could see the 43, 63, 68 and 8. Returning it via Grand will create HELL. But again, we wait and see what goes down in the Brooklyn Division.
  9. Not another B43 fiasco. Look what happen the first time when Grand Avenue had both the 43 and 48. Disaster. I guess we are repeating the same issues from 10 years ago. I’m done. Glad that Flatbush, East New York and Ulmer Park aren’t on the rumors list.
  10. Rumor has it that the B43 is leaving Gleason. Any knowledge or truth to this?
  11. The service would have to be operated by Flatbush as Ulmer Park drivers aren’t trained to drive artics. Also, Flatbush has rush hours (PM) for the B1.
  12. First. For the 8,632,587,124 time. Please no more talking about this B44 extension to KCC. It’s very nauseous and all these other bus combinations for the B1 and the B49 need to be left alone. Let each route figure itself out The B49 does a good job handling itself going to KCC. The line doesn’t need nor warrant artics. The route isn’t long unlike the other major Flatbush lines of the B41, B44, B46 which all need artics. The B1 has its own issues and plus Ulmer Park needs major construction in order to have artics.
  13. You did indicate that things would be a bit crazy in regards to moves. However, just a bit confused with 1025, 1026, 1031-1034 over to Gleason. I would think those would stay at WF since the Bx36 artic conversion starts Sunday. Could 7572's possible move to FB mean Quill might be off the board for XD40's?
  14. IMO. I don’t think we will ever have any good regional transportation while Liberty Bus- Westchester, TOR Rockland, Dutchess County Transit and Orange County are all in business. Some bus service could solve the problems up north.
  15. This is something that the needs to tap in. I’d want that dog fight with Westchester. But is that something the wants? Sheesh, have them steal parts of the Hudson branch of MNRR with some good marketing of Super Expresses from Yonkers, Bronxville, White Plains to Manhattan.
  16. I agree. I didn’t think to mention Cross County plus the deadhead to Yonkers Depot isn’t far at all. Definitely take from the fleetwood stop for sure.
  17. Do you terminate the 4 at Getty Square with the BxM3 or elsewhere in Yonkers? Perhaps Central & Yonkers Avenue. (Thruway service Road)
  18. The changes of the I tell you. I could guess one thing. Another change on the order.
  19. Very rare with Fresh Pond. Only East New York running RTS mostly.
  20. Too bad Brooklyn Division rarely gets 30x244 or 30x215 billboards. However, this morning spotted some Fresh Pond and East New York buses with a Sprint PCS 30x215 billboard.
  21. However, the 57 is a pretty long route to Maspeth. However, I will not dis-credit the fact it does a good job on the Red-Hook side of things. 71 and 75 definitely to return IMO. Have the 75 help out 61. 57 & 61 usually get packed in Downtown Brooklyn. At least by having the 75 only on Weekdays it could alleviate some overcrowding. If the 75 could be marketed effectively than I can see it’s return. However, not on same routing as pre-2010.
  22. I’d bring back 75 under the condition that it helps out 61 more or less the 57. I wish there was a way that the 77 could also get tied in. However, as you stated the 75 would be a hard sell to return. However, with the population of Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, and Red Hook. You need the 71, 75 definitely. 77 (toss up). Sometime later this week I will try to draw up 3 separate maps.
