  1. My best bet for you: Try these locations Hylan Blvd, Richmond Avenue, ETC (Etingville Transit Center), Tottenville, Staten Island Mall, Port Richmond.
  2. If mentioned or not 3909 is repainted with bus decal 6041 now has a bus trailer ad of the US open Driver and Passenger sides.
  3. We gotta give it time. Plus most of West Farms 76xx, 77xx and 78xx buses aren’t in the chop shop. As deliveries come in some will hit the chop shop.
  4. Gleason has some clearance issues. Although they have 3 buses. The rest coming in December. The 1030’s and some 1040’s are in New York City.
  5. SBS Machine installation: Flatlands and Utica-Complete SBS Machine installation in progress: Flatlands and East 80/81 Streets.
  6. Agreed. The 44 used to rank top 10 throughout the city when it was limited. Once the limited was done it was a rap. I feel that could of did more to keep the 44 on New York Avenue vs Rogers Avenue.
  7. SBS Machine installation: Louisiana & Flatlands.
  8. Remember. 6589-6624 are already over 10 years old... Yes, the hybrids have aged very well, and no rusts.
  9. TBH.. The way Flatbush Avenue is set up these days. Artics should of been here years ago when Gun Hill brought 2 D60's into Flatbush for testing and if I can recall they were training on Flatbush to Downtown and back. Thinking then management would make the change to have the artics on Flatbush. Bus stops moved to accommodate the artics. However, that never happen. Now fast forward to 2011, 2012 FB getting novas for the B44 limited and SBS. If the TA was smart then some of those LFSA's should of went to FB for the B41. Not too long ago I would see a LFSA work a KP to Empire during the AM rush than interline to the 44 on Nostrand. I think one day FB will be mostly artic but the way everything is set up right now management doesn't care about fixing the B41.
  10. 6596 got towed on Linden Blvd and Elderts Lane. Earlier this week 6822 got towed on Conklin Avenue by the train station while turning from East 98th street.
  11. So... How about Grand Avenue??? Grand Avenue is artic ready.. Your B38 would need to be placed at Grand Avenue Full time. Ulmer Park is NOT artic ready. So Ulmer is out of the question. The had the perfect chance to built 2 mega depots. One in Brooklyn to replace FB, the other in Jamaica to replace the current Jamaica. The is not in the market right now to built anything new depots.. It would be good to have at least 2 more depots built to deal with overcrowding.
  12. Article # 1: https://www.kingscountypolitics.com/mta-dot-floats-preliminary-plans-for-sbs-b82-service/ Article # 2: https://www.kingscountypolitics.com/colton-reveals-preliminary-options-for-sbs-b82-service/ Anything after that figure out..
  13. To be honest with you fam. If 7663 stays in East New York, there is no big difference. Remember, Flatbush is due for XD60's either in January or March 2019. By September FB will need extra buses for the B44+ and B46+ for back to school. Here's the pre update on the SBS82 as of 7/18/18. It's pretty interesting: https://www.kingscountypolitics.com/colton-reveals-preliminary-options-for-sbs-b82-service/
  14. I’ve been looking for an example for a bus trailer ad on an artic.
  15. That traffic is pretty stupid if you ask me. Plus, you have to deal with Southern Boulevard + Bx19. If I’m not mistaken Crotona Avenue // Bx17 is in the vicinity near Fordham Plaza (correct me here) and Webster Avenue. However, Main Street takes the cake b/c you talking at least 10 bus lines or more converging into and out of Main Street and the side blocks.
  16. Interesting. Has Quill put up any more bus trailer ads on the XD60’s besides 6115 recently. Hopefully, the ads are either full wrap or partial wrap (driver side) something similar to what SF (Muni) has?
  17. Wow. What a shift. I guess 7663 was supposed to be for FB. So FB 7616-7662, ENY 7663-7702.
  18. Looks like it was on loan for the day yesterday Good spotting on that bus.
  19. In full agreement with this. I didn’t really want to chime in on this b/c I know for a fact that the Q44 and SBS works itself out along the Cross Bronx. Why have a supplement like the Bx36. The 36 has its own issues and plus terminating the Q44 at E. Tremont & Concourse for the and creates other issues. Let the other interborough Bronx lines deal with that.
  20. I don’t know but the B52 has gotten a nice increase of service as of late especially during the mid-day hours unlike the other Fresh Pond routes.
  21. Clearly understand. When I initially wrote it I thought a route would need to be remove from FB for additional room for the artics. However, after your explanation and what’s needed to done it’s just a even swap of equipment only.
  22. 5148 FB to ENY spotted on the B25. Someone keep an eye. I think this is a loan. Decals haven’t been changed yet. However, bus is heading towards Broadway-East New York.
  23. The B46 will need at least 35 full time artics plus spares for that to happen. Which could also mean FB would have to get rid of 1 or 2 routes for that to happen in the present day.
