  1. Ulmer Park and East New York are the only 2 depots in the Brooklyn Division that don’t want any NG’s in their depot. Looks like that’s gonna change at least for Ulmer Park. When they always run short of buses Flatbush and Fresh Pond are lending their NG’s to Ulmer Park. It’s about time that Ulmer Park get on board with the NG’s.
  2. .... and I would add Brooklyn to the mix. However, stranger things have happen. We can all say most of the NG’s go to Manhattanville than next thing DOB puts a bait and switch.
  3. Damm.. Manhattan is out of the running.. Bronx, Queens Village and Staten Island order only... I see the Bronx NG's possibly heading to Brooklyn and Manhattan. Yukon has a handful of NG's and I could see those also Brooklyn bound. If I were a bettor in this situation the following depots: Ulmer Park, Manhattanville, TU, Fresh Pond, Flatbush* Grand Avenue* would possibly get NG's. The last NG transfer from Staten Island headed to Grand Avenue and Fresh Pond.
  4. Some observations this week: 1) Noticing more buses on the B65. I'm guessing the service increases are beginning or have begun. 2) Brooklyn Division getting driver side window wraps placed on buses + Exterior roof ads on the NG's, OG's 3) JG slapping ads on their XN40's and XN60's + FB with their XD40's for SBS+ and Grand Avenue with XDE40 9500 has a side ad.
  5. JG is slowly moving the WF artics back to The Bronx I see.
  6. You are correct. However, the rest of next week is still business as usual.
  7. There’s gotta be a big shortage of express buses in Queens.
  8. I got some sorry news for you.. The is not going to add on extra buses simply b/c transit fans are saying the waits for the 82SBS are pretty long. Look the service is 3 days old. Let's all start by trusting the process that this will work. Also, take some notes and what needs changing and send those changes through the proper avenues so that everything is discussed in a cohesive way enroute to solutions. Yes, the 82+ is longer than the 46+. Granted this is ENY's first SBS. I remembered when FB got on board with artics alone when those buses were going down New York Avenue there were some waits along the route. However, buses were moving. All it takes is some schedule adjustments. I feel like I'm repeating myself a bit by saying this.. BE PATIENT... It takes a while for depots to get with the program of SBS.
  9. But Kings Plaza does not have a target store. But a 82SBS would be good plus it’s only a 1/2 mile on Flatlands to Schenck vs going via the Belt Parkway. [Alternative SBS82’s] So. New target store on Kings Highway and East 14th Street opens later this year and in about 18 mos from now. Target on Kings Highway and Foster Avenue.
  10. How do you borrow from FB if they need their own spares possibly for the 44 SBS. I usually see 1 XD40 working the 44SBS in the morning to Williamsburg than flip over to the 46. [Direct interline] Now, what needs to happen is that when ENY gets the rest of their order designate 2 to 5 spares for the 82.
  11. Now.. that's crazy. Right now it is early to tell if the goofed on this 82SBS. However, from what I'm reading right now is that it is a total mess. NO SBS should be running with 10 minute headways during the PEAK rush. That's no way to be running an SBS. If that were the case, keep the LTD and expand headways along with the bus lanes. Also, some of those riders are looking for Coney Island bound service and not Bay 37th Street
  12. Damm West Farms is quickly getting rid of these buses. Hopefully Gleason can send some buses their way. 1102 and 1103 should be on their way to Gleason soon and 1050’s are in the city right now.
  13. Here’s my issue. The bulk of that traffic is between East 16th and Coney Island Avenue which is the main commercial district. Trucks have to make their deliveries along the commercial district. What are the hours? 10-3? or during rush hour? Had the re-route was on Avenue P. There wouldn’t be any issue to that problem. However, there are no entrances at Avenue P for the so the issue will continue to present it self on Kings Highway.
  14. No dice. Than how are the buses moving through the lane. *crunches numbers* to say B82SBS is moving at rapid rate while the real truth is that buses are moving extra slow. SMDH
  15. When it’s the next nova delivery to be scheduled? Later this month. Buses already built and ready for delivery to Gun Hill
  16. Random Thought: The B6 needs to operate via Glenwood. It’s a good thing finally that Glenwood is 2 way between East 103rd and Rockaway. However, a 2 way bus lane only from Rockaway to Remsen would be great for streamline service instead of looping to Flatlands. Let the 82 handle Flatlands service.
  17. Just drove past 7615 on Nostrand & Flatbush. It’s back at FB.
  18. Let’s see what happens on Monday Morning rush hour. The signs I see so far is the B82 turning on 103. B6 gets the direct ride. If I only go on assumption is that 60 is the only Flatlands Avenue Westbound bus service as @Brillant93 indicated.
  19. Than have the 60 return to its former route on Flatlands Avenue heading to 108 and Williams Ave.. Of course after the construction 🚧 on Flatlands
  20. Too bad that bus lane is restricted to Ulmer Park and East New York buses only. No Grand Avenue.
  21. A good suggestion for this is extend the 32 to Queensboro Plaza // 27th Street Continue down 11th Street to Queens Plaza South than terminate at 27th Street- Queensboro Plaza. Return trip 27th Street to Hunter Street to 44th Drive for at Court Square.
  22. East New York is known for having those buses run on the B42. Ive seen 7684, 7678 and few others on the B12 also.
