How about focusing on your photo hosting instead of telling me how to type?

  3. If I may ask, what is a "bellmouth"? I might have made a similar suggestion under the proposals thread, in which instead of nestling the last stop on SAS under 125th Street (which I feel is reckless given how deep it already is), to spurn a third track toward 3rd Avenue - 138th Street [Mott Haven]. It could supplement or replace service, although the platforms might not have the width to handle a R160-sized girth.

  5. to ensure articles posted here are current, you should use the search tools function in the browser to limit results to the last two months. You can also specify a specific period using a range, or the wayback machine. It's like a wayback machine meeting a looking glass. The MTA is not an agency of bold decisions. Although your suggestions leave out other problems that may arise. Transit is like a symbiotic relationship. Things need to work well together in order for anything to move forward. The other synonym is bureaucracy. 6. this would best be resolved through interagency cooperation, assuming the MTA is willing to utilize Metro North service to get customers to their Bronx-based destinations. This would barely cover customers, though, and they'd have to walk a few city blocks to finish their trip. If I may ask, what is CPW? A highway, or another abbreviation I should know but don't? 7. I swear I asked this question and got the same answer last November. We gotta consider putting a sticky on the page we can just link to answers and not waste keystrokes.

  9. If I remember correctly, all cars with interactive maps or FIND have a copy of every line at their disposal. The combinations and possibilities are endless. But this is quite the gem. This vindicates a certain someone's signature...
  10. They're probably in their in-between edit phase.Bee-Line Buses sometimes have hollow entries if the schedule was recently updated. It'll pass. 11. In addition, based on a reply I was given this past January, the Lexington Avenue line is at dispatch capacity. No more trains can be added without having an adverse or counterproductive impact. The second phase of SAS should connect with 3 Av - 138 St instead of tapering off under a station that is already so deep underground, had its elevators rehabbed, and would only cause more disruption to an already-ravaged section of town. I predict more displacement of businesses and residents should SAS' current plan be allowed to continue. I don't live here, but I'm scared of what could happen. 12. would it be reasonable to dedicate certain MTA employees to these tasks? Some of them are hard as nails and have a better understanding and concern for the system than contractors *cough* outsiders. Sent from my HP ENVY m6 Notebook PC using Tapatalk

  14. Isn't there a meeting this August? Like at the end?

  15. I don't include all long term service changes in my PDF. I think you're talking about the going to C/I via 63rd but 179th via 53rd. That is confusing, and I tried to add more detail to that section with a spillover box. I should probably do that.
  16. by LGA N AirTrain, who should be posting here: I think I mentioned something similar with the running to Bensonhurst bay Pkwy, but with the abandonment of the DSC for that area, it's for naught.
  17. very likely a disturbed individual that requires some special handling. I was on the behind this incident. A lot of shaking heads...
  18. that was the idea. The emphasis should be on connections as much as it is stations served. Even if it isn't ideal, I don't think it should be a full time service adjustment. In addition, even if the tracks aren't connected to anything, I still think they can be used to tuck extra trains away in the event of a train malfunction or other malady. The trains tucked away should have the tightest inspection schedule.
  19. Instead of sleep apnea training, how about mental health counselors for those who have to walk the dead?

  20. I've got a new PDF for the cycle between August 18th-24th, 2017 on OneDrive: https://1drv.ms/b/s!AlW-ZYlueHvEhNUtdWLRfDvJ0jf3OQ Some service updates have strayed columns to accommodate the increasing numbers of updates per line. Some may have changes that apply to multiple lines. Look for the Also (*) for those kinds of details.
  21. I would ask that you tell via Woodhaven to do the same. I don't take anyone's remarks here personally. The internet is a big place. You're reprimanding the wrong person.
