I still don't know how this track operation between Myrtle-Wycofff and Middle Village is going to work. Are they going to wrong rail shuttles on both tracks? How long are these shuttles going to run (TPH)? Also, won't having Broadway Junction as a terminal with only one track to terminate on gonna limit the trains along Sixth and QBL?
I remember I once had this train operator and conductor who were new to the line a few months back, the operator stopped at the 10 car marker instead of the 8 car marker at 14th Street because he was used to only operating the . The conductor had a freak out because she couldn't see the CCTV screens (I don't know why you even need CCTV screens since the platform is straight anyway.) And the board wasn't in sight. RCC and her operator were telling her two different things so she opened the doors but couldn't close them because she coudlnt see the CCTV. Her operator had to walk out of his cab and try to explain to her what was going on. This delayed service on the by like a good 15 minutes.
R160 because the W to 86 St trip is confusing on an R68 since the rollsigns are set to Whitehall St, and the W runs on the same track as the . At 59th Street, people could mistake the going down to Bay Ridge, and the R68's don't have good PA systems.
All the platforms along Jamaica and Myrtle need to be extended to 10 cars.
Although I never understood why a has never found it's way up 6th Avenue, even though there have been countless amount of delays at Chambers, Fulton, and Broad Sts before.
