  1. Future ENY Op would be far more qualified than me to speak to this but IIRC flatbush didn’t do exactly 1-to-1 RTS-Orion NG replacement. They rushed the RTS out but kind of forgot to send more NGs to FB, opting to send them quickly to MV to retire Gen 1s...
  2. This is a little strange, 4392-4395 to QV. Guess that move was just to quickly retire the remaining 2004 Orions by the end of the month. 4360, 4362 KB-MV 6643, 6655 MV-LG
  3. They’re with the bush rn. Probably safe to say they’re there to stay but we’ll see.
  4. 6432 ran the q46 in the morning. They;re around but I don't know if any will run again
  5. 1258-1259, 1270-1271, 4712, 4714-4717, 4720-4723, 4726, 4738, 4749, 4755, 4757, 4761, 4770, 4778, 4784, 4786, 4791, 4795, 5303, 5799, 5929, 5980 I think is all for now 4082 is up in EC too for whatever reason. Maint i guess?
  6. Is there a way to sign this online? I swear I’ll sign anything if it means his RTS runs in revenue service
  7. Jeez I thought that the MTA just introduced a brand new bus stop sign style for a second, not something from 1997 🤦‍♀️
  8. I feel it's worth mentioning the remaining active 2005s in case any retirements haven't been reported yet East New York Depot (50 Total): 6490-6500, 6502-6506, 6508-6510, 6564, 6569-6570, 6581, 6589, 6596, 6602, 6607-6630 Fresh Pond Depot (52 Total): 6521-6531, 6554-6563, 6565-6568, 6571-6580, 6582-6588, 6590-6595, 6597-6599, 6603 Manhattanville Depot (19 Total): 6606, 6633, 6640, 6643-6645, 6650, 6652-6653, 6655, 6665, 6668, 6675, 6679-6680, 6683-6684, 6686, 6689 JFK/Far Rockaway Depots (21 Total): 6511-6520, 6532-6533, 6543-6545, 6547, 6550-6553, 6601 LaGuardia Depot (13 Total): 6534-6535, 6538-6542, 6548-6549, 6600, 6657, 6660, 6670
  9. Now is it known what those 2 replacement buses will be? Hopefully this will be the beginning of the end of the school-bus era...
  10. And thus ends the multiyear saga of 0020. Finally something in the city worth fanning!!
  11. No I don’t. Not sure why they’re at quill but at least when I posted and also now, I see quill instead of MV. Maybe they’ll get moved to MV eventually, quill has had a few strange assignments recently (I assume for maintenance) like 1264 and a few ex-MB 2003 orions
  12. Those weekend q32 increases are probably because the damn 7 has some form of track work going on so frequently. Especially when they run manhattan bound trains express, the 32s fill up very quickly, sometimes to the door, from 74 street
  13. 4694 YU to MV. FWIW the only Orions left at Yukon are the following: 4012, 4018, 4230, 4247, 4250-4251, 4254-4256, 4260-4261, 4265-4273, 4275-4276, 4278, 4674-4675
  14. Has yukon just not been cleaning their express bus floors? 2554 has these white smears all over the floor that i swear look like faint salt stains. I mean the bus is overall comfortable (suspension is ass but I guess the roads will do that...) but i feel like its only saving grace is that it has only been around for close to half a decade... I tried 2223 late last week and even that was cleaner than 2554.
  15. Just like that MQ LFSA with meredith stickers that never actually went to meredith... Next...
  16. Well... Yet!! ---- If they end up repainting buses during overhauls, then I would expect 7001, 7005, 7040, 7051, 7081, and 7088 to have fresh coats since my understanding is that they're getting overhauled... [Someone correct me if i'm wrong]
  17. The meat of Sunnyside's residential area north of Queens Boulevard is concentrated between 43-48 Streets so the Q104 already does an okay job handling that. Furthermore, from my observations riding the Q104 very few people use the bus in Sunnyside anyway. The majority of the people on board are just folks riding through Sunnyside to get to Astoria from the 7 train or the q32/60. Ultimately though if north-of-Queens Blvd Sunnyside is of enough importance, sending a theoretical Q101A up 43 Street would be more useful (then routing it via 35th Avenue or Northern Boulevard or whatever to Steinway Street).. As for south of Queens Boulevard, you'll probably want to take the Q101A off of 50th Avenue, 48th Avenue is much more alive with businesses and foot traffic, and it's more centrally located in south-of-Queens Blvd Sunnyside. Anyway the way I went about this was by splitting the B24. Just terminate Greenpoint half by the 46 Street station. Run the Williamsburg half up to 47/45 Streets, run down Queens Boulevard, up 43rd, then over to Steinway on 35th, run it up to Broadway and terminate. If you're going to run the 101a all the way up to Ditmars, it definitely does not need to further supplement the Q101 north of Ditmars; I'd just turn it around there or send it over to 31 Street (But perhaps 31 Street would just end up being empty mileage?).
  18. Well it’s also going to jacob riis park on a hot summer weekend...
