  1. -A lot of these ideas just create route that are long and unreliable, specifically the , , , and -Any route originating from Whitestone deserves to go to Manhattan, otherwise it'll just end up being an situation where the majority of riders will have to constantly transfer -For that route, my proposal would be to go via Fordham Rd instead, seeing as that is the busier corridor (with the Bx12 SBS) -Is it really necessary to have the line go all the way to Avenue C just to get back on 2nd? I get you'd want to serve East Village and Stuyvesant Town better, but why not just move the line to 1st Av for that portion at least? This would add so much more extra travel time -If you're going to have the go to Rockaway Park, then at least eliminate the there. It wouldn't be needed anymore. -For the , can you provide more information about how exactly you plan to connect those two destinations? -Your , , , and ideas I like... only thing about is that it would be long and indirect for those living east of Corona Park
  2. Actually, quite the opposite... they're looking really hot 😉
  3. that too, I thought you were asking about what would happen to the train itself
  4. Yes, instead of copying and pasting an old post (by me) into 5 different threads on the first day...
  5. You'd think that if only 1% of express bus riders use coins then they'd be more willing to keep the policy... but instead they use it as an argument against having coins. Really now?
  6. It's very questionable why there are still R62s on the and ... but I guess they have no choice
  7. I used to live in the Rockaways as well and I support this message
  8. Nah, they'll still run with 20 min headways SB. 6 min headways on the at QBL does not equal the same thing on 4 Av. Good dispatching, though, and rerouting some extra or trains might help.
  9. What exactly is the justification for moving the back to Forest Hills?
  10. They could use that at Surf Av & W 35 St, because I've already had two B36 bus ops (in a row!) that just seemed to not know there was a stop there and only cared about the terminal on 37. Your group definitely has an impact. I've already complained to the about buses not showing up but whether they will actually continuously do something about that... I don't know.
  11. Doesn't even matter, since the buses will just not show up anyway...
  12. In a post shutdown world, I really don't know. Not too familiar with that area or ever really commuted by bus there.
  13. ADA accessibility across the bridge, mostly. What you proposed is very similar to the L1/L2, etc. routes that the had before Cuomo swooped in. Unfortunately, it was cancelled for the aforesaid reason, but it would definitely help in transporting commuters across the bridge, not just during the shutdown.
  14. I just don't understand how you're attempting to ease overcrowding by only connecting with Grand (and I guess partially Lorimer and Graham). In that case, wouldn't a route that is closer to the market (via Bushwick, Wilson, Seneca, Wyckoff, etc.) make more sense? (to at least the point that it can connect with the ).
  15. Why are you copying and pasting my post? lol edit: not to mention posting it in multiple threads...
  16. This is all just speculation. Due to CBTC in the first 5 years of the FF plan, the is bound to get NTTs. The and will not have CBTC within the first 5 years, so the theory has been that there will be a whole switcheroo and the / will get R68s.
  17. Seeing as there are already (visible) provisions for it, this makes sense.
