    Thanks but, I like the Gillig buses. I was supposed to be relaxing but I couldn't resist in taking a few shots of transit. Thanks guys!

    I went upstate to Saratoga Springs New York for the weekend with my lady on a mini vacation to get away from the city. It was really nice up there with tons of history. I managed to get some quick shots of their Capital District Transportation Authority buses. They were pretty clean and in great condition. Enjoy!

    The MTA spells them: Metro-North Railroad - MNR Long Island Rail Road - LIRR When I created the forum home icons I was thinking of spelling it Long Island Rail Road but decided to go with Railroad because it easier.

    Just the R44's that run on the SIR were modified according to FRA standards to run on the SIR. The NYC Subway R44's are standard subway equipment.
