  1. Nj transit has a big problem of waiting until the last minute unfortunately.
  2. You answered your own question. It’s too take pressure of the blvd east lines and to supplement during rush hour. Without the 128 you could not have the 165,166,168 run express. The local that start at N Marginal are working against the New York rush hour while the 128s are going into the rush hour.
  3. I was talking to him in Atlantic City. He has a morning Atlantic City today.
  4. Oradell currently on the 319 21363 to help with the extra 9 buses today. I don’t know about Fairview and Wayne.
  5. If you read the whole thing it says through sept 5th and again for fright fest.
  6. Look at Fairview nabis and that’ll answer your question. Those 5200s are beyond trash. I’m surprised they are even in service.
  7. This is why I don’t do these type of lines anymore. I only do the 319 3 stops nothing to scream.
  8. Seaside is a special fare. When you buy the tickets there is no zone on it, it says SSH, but technically it is 19 zones. But you cannot ride a bus to seaside with a 19 zone ticket, it must say SSH. When you purchase the ticket from a TVM, you put in route 67(Journal Sq/Newark) or 137(PABT) then origin and destination.
  9. This same problem occurs on the 319 out of PABT, only the last 2 319s stop via brick ramp stop and dorado park and ride. Meanwhile when I pass “driver I need brick”. They got all of those 137s but still hop on a 319.
  10. meadowlands will still have their 166/167 and rush hour 177X
  11. 163/164/166 are Oradell trippers for those lines stay 165/167,177/168 Westwood along with the trippers for those lines They are not moving the entire garage. 163/164 are still combined 166 will now have 37 runs all 166 165 will now have 31 runs 168 10 runs 167 14 runs with 177X on the rush hour paddles
  12. What you going to do if meadowlands has a high turnover rate? Keep in mind you cannot be forced to do a line not in your garage unless you are properly qualified on it. You guys did 319s when they needed extra buses, it’s fine and dandy but get into an accident and watch how the company throws you under the bus. It’s too many “here I come to save the day operators”. When Howell needed help with the 137 local and 139s they broke 319 operators at eht on on it. One day I did a trip up on the 319 and had to dhd back to eht, and a supervisor came to my bus and said they needed a 193 to Willowbrook and that I had to do it, i said I’m not a Wayne driver I am eht and she said it’s a direct order I said no I don’t know those lines. I called my garage supervisor and he chewed her a new a**hole. The only lines eht can do out of PABT is the 137, 139 and 319 because those are going south and will put us within an hour of eht to dhd.
  13. Yeah as I typed that 21118 was loading up for the 119 yesterday.
  14. That’s a question for NJT private carrier department. This would help the shortage at EHT and Washington Twp.
  15. Njt is stuck, they refuse to simplify the system and it’s very frustrating from a b/o stand point. I know the fare is the same from Newark/NYC so if I get a 28 or 29 zone ticket I won’t say nothing if they are going to New York. The only issue is if the company does audit you they’ll write you up for taking a intrastate ticket to New York. To go by the book any fare going into New York or Philadelphia needs to have a interstate ticket or monthly pass. Fares from Camden(WRTC only)to Philadelphia is 1.95, however before WRTC it’s 3.50. But Union City to New York is straight 3.50 and they don’t care if your in Weekawken it’s 3.50, same with GWB, it’s 3.50 from Bridge Plaza to the terminal. The whole state should be under 1 fare system not no north/south crap. The 317 uses north fares after Lakewood but the 559 stays on south fares from Toms River to Lakewood. But if you take the 67 from Toms River to Lakewood it’s north fare. When the 137 had those am trippers via the 559 it was north fares on the 137. People weren’t riding because they knew the 559 was cheaper. But if you need a CTT from say Waretown to Freehold you pay north fares from Waretown. 319 from Atlantic City to New York round trip is $39.00. From New York it’s $42.00, however from New York if you don’t buy the rt ex it’s $72.00 round trip. From Atlantic City it’s $39.00 even if you buy a ow ticket. The system is broken. In the summer there are 3 Jersey City buses from Atlantic City. From AC Weekdays 415a, 445p Weekends 415a, 445p, 9000 From JC Weekdays 932p, 1227p, 415p Weekends 930a, 1230p
  16. 6203-6204 needs work give it a few days. They are sitting in lane 16. 6202 needs a bike rack, but they still ran it.
  17. Apparently 21182 caught fire after hitting a pole, I can’t confirm nor have seen a report but a friend of mine at meadowlands called me this morning and told me.
