23 tph on the entire QBL line? That's even worse.
It's easier than you think.

No Service
via Queens Blvd Express
How will the and merge? And having 23 tph on QBL Exp won't work.

Via Local and 63rd St
Express between Queens Plaza and Jackson Heights
How would the fit on the express track?
How would the and merge if the switch is unmovable?

36 St, Queens.
And I mean both B Division Court Squares: Court Sq and Court Sq .
0 -
They can be spiked once, but once set they cannot be moved.

No trains south of Church Av .
No trains south of 62 St.
No trains south of 18 Av.
No trains south of 8 Av.
No trains south of Prospect Park.
NEXT
Due to a fire in a control room, none of the switches between Court Sq and 36 St can be moved.

No, the problem uptown only, so downtown service is not affected.
Well, after he told us that, your solution works.
Who wants to post a next scenario?

I'm cool. Just explaining to NX that my fix now works.
I'm chill! B)
Except for the fact that there is no service along the CI-bound line in Brooklyn, yes it works.

It can...
It swiches after Bway-Lafayette, and then goes onto 8th.
Want to bet?
E service suspended From Queens Plaza - West 4th. Use M for service in Manhattan
Reroute M&B on the 8th Ave. line
F&D run on 6th with reduced service, @ slower speeds
2 - 3 tph each track should do
How would the turn around at West 4 St? How would the B run from 8 Av to the Manhattan Bridge? Reducing F service from 15 tph to 3 tph is very unrealistic...

If you mean my scenario, yes.

Alright...
: Suspended.
: Via 8th Avenue Express, West 4th Street-59th Street
: Slightly reduced service, use . Express late nights.
: Via 8th Avenue Local, West 4th Street-36 Street, Queens. Local in Queens.
: Chambers Street-Metro Avenue. Transfer to at Delancey Street.
: Runs all night to 71 Avenue.
That could really use a check on the track map: the can't get to the Manhattan Bridge from 8 Av.
My solution (in essence, 6 Av is closed):
Trains operate in two sections:
.........Bedford Park Bl to 34 St/Herald Sq
.........71/Continental Av to Brighton Beach, via the in Queens and in Manhattan. Replaces the in Queens.
Trains run express between 59 St and Canal St.
No trains between West 4 St and 34 St / Herald Sq. Transfer between sections via the A, C, E, or F.
Trains run via the in both directions between Roosevelt Av and West 4 St.
Trains run to Chambers St. Transfer at Canal St for service for nearby stations.
NEXT
Due to a track condition, 6 Av can only fit 5 tph per track.

No trains between Queensboro Plaza and Queens Plaza, via 53 St and 6 Av. Transfer between trains by walking or using the .
Runs via the between 63 St and 47/50 Sts, then via the to Dekalb Av.
Service ends early between 71 Av and 36 St (Brooklyn)
Service ends early.
NEXT
Current service.
Nassau and Broadway FasTracks occur at the same time.

Wouldn't the Jersey Street loop line be the S42 or a version thereof?

Thanks Matt!
PS Can you add a note on the white section with something to the regard of ' J N Q late nights only' ?
0 -
It's really unrealistic and foamy.
NEXT
Due to police investigations, the uptown local tracks are impassable at 23 St and 23 St .

Low ridership/lack of money/insufficient capacity during rush hours.

Had to tutor a kid up in Washington Heights today for a few hours....Stopped at my office and then walked over the and took that to 59th street to transfer to the train. Took the train up to 168th street and was in disbelief at how disgusting those stations are up there. Then I had to transfer to the train to get off at 191st street. Walking up the platform at 168th street I thought a huge rat was coming my way, but then looked carefully and it was pigeon... I was about to say... Another Fulton St. of the old days but just north... I can't believe those folks up there allow the to get away with not even cleaning the platforms...
You went Riverdale > Washington Hts via Midtown?

What's wrong with this picture?
Due to track maintenance at the E 180th Street Station, please expect delays in downtown trains and train service in both directions at this time.

May I have a sign?
<-- Local.................................Express -->
................................
The , , and on a night background if possible, if not then on a white background. Everything else on a black background. Thanks!

My wording must have been off - I meant to avoid through-routing to the Shuttle line.
@Your scenario:
Trains rerouted, after 135 St, to 3 Av/149 St to provide extra service to the Bronx and avoid delays at 142 St Junction.
No service between 149 St - Grand Concourse and 86 St. Selected trains run local between 42 St and 86 St. The last stop on some northbound trains is 59 St.
Trains run via the in both directions between 149 St and Nevins St.
No trains south of 3 Av - 138 St.
NEXT
Due to a switch failure, the northbound express track is closed at 34 St - Herald Sq (6 Av platform).
Be creative.

How was I supposed to know? just saw it recently.
I'm sure there was a forum thread on it, complete with photos...

: All times to New Lots Avenue
: All times to Flatbush Avenue, exp.
: To Bowling Green.
: E.180 St-Dyre Av
15 tph on the Lexington express?
I'd send the to Borough Hall. There is a crossover there, after all.
0 -
That changes nothing in my solution, except that trains run via Brighton Local.
NEXT
Due to track maintenance, the entire Eastern Pkwy line (local and express combined) can only fit 16 tph / direction.

Trains go to Flatbush and New Lots Avs (EP/7 Av Local)
14 St to 148 St. (7 Av Express)
Extended to New Lots Av. (EP Local/Lexington Av Express)
To Bowling Green (Lexington Av Express)
To Coney Island (4 Av /West End Express Peak)
To Coney Island (4 Av/Sea Beach Local)
To Brighton Beach with additional 6 Car R68[A] consists (Brighton Local)
The West End and Sea Beach Lines lost all 3rd power. How do you handle the situation.
Ah, we can't live without the going via Brighton, can we?
@your situation:
Trains run via the in both directions between West 4 St and Coney Island. The last stop on some southbound trains is Church Av or Kings Highway.
Trains run via the between 59 St and 95 St in both directions.
NEXT
Due to track maintenance, the entire Eastern Pkwy line (local and express combined) can only fit 16 tph / direction.
