    I saw an OG (6xx8) on Sunrise Highway by VS station being hooked to a tow truck.

    NG 1780 was on the side of Merrick Road earlier with its blinkers on near the WH tracks. I don't think it was in service because I didn't see anyone nearby.

    I hate the iPhone so much. I've had it for two years now and normally, people's contracts are up by then so they switch to a new phone... I use an app for longer than 10 minutes and suddenly 20% of my battery is gone. Also, my phone tends to decide when it wants to charge and it's plugged in.

    That bridge at Merillon Avenue really needs to be replaced. Two lanes narrow to one just about 50' back from a traffic light so people have to sort of shimmy over RIGHT as they go under the tracks, and the underpass itself is dangerously narrow. The rate at which trucks are hitting it is increasing as well...

    I'm giving the rest of that year's Orion V order another year and a half before they're all gone. I rode 1636 in 2010 and I remember it sounding fantastic. I found it again as LIB was closing shop at the end of 2011 and it sounded horrible. 1634 is also running strong and it appears that NICE scrubbed the wheels for the spring.

    Orion V 1634 is still in service, saw it earlier on the N4.

    Because I'm the one who changes all the clocks when DST ends and begins, I like watching 1:00 AM repeat in the fall and automated clocks going straight to 3. I missed the latter this year, though. Shame.

    I heard 1636, the John Deere bus, was scrapped. Sad. The next bus, 1637, is still running strong as I saw it on the n4 earlier.

    New buses have to be broken in. The NGs had the exact same issue... but NICE's track record (as a whole!) doesn't help at all.

    I saw an NG on the Lynbrook/RVC border on Sunrise not earlier. If Freeport is still another mile and a half down from there, what would it be doing?

    Why would the N35 go up that far north? It's already a 35 minute ride from Merrick Road to Westbury.

    Why did the MTA decide against having the signal lights flash whenever the brakes were applied? Earlier orders of the Orion Vs (and NG 1700) featured this but after a while the covered them up.

    Can you still transfer to/from the n20ABCXYZ at Northern Boulevard/Community Drive or any of the stops along that stretch before Middle Neck Road? I never liked transferring at Great Neck because it was too far up to be timely by any standard.
