  1. I'm glad I was there to see two of the cIty Orion Vs hit eachother at Hempstead Transit Center!
  2. Ok, ok, I see. I got confused The 1800s have that nice plastic type of seat.
  3. Really? Huh, could the seat be from one of the retired 1800s?
  4. Oh, read the question wrong. Yeah, it was save money like N6 Limited said, and also because they're not very long routes and run pretty much parallel to eachother, so it made sense.
  5. @Amtrak7 1801 has been wrapped like SevenEleven said. 1815 has also been wrapped. Can you please update the thingy.
  6. I think because the buses have more of a public image than the para transit. They also may not have a wrapping crew at the para transit facility in Garden City.
  7. Some n6x's should be converted into LIMITEDs I think. Its too bad that was eliminated.
  8. Interesting. There are still more 1800s to be wrapped, but they're doing 1700s. Did 1710 have the blue stripe showing?
  9. Yea, its better for me, but I could see it doesnt work for mostly everyone else. And to get to the mall now, i don't have to wait for the n20 hicksville. I can take the roslyn n20 and then get the n23. But most people from the north shore arent going to RF like me. No matter how much the buses ever screw me over, I will NEVER take a cab. I'd rather walk.
  10. I'm so glad I don't have to take the n27 anymore, given this BS. I really think those two routes should never have been touched. I honestly have to agree (kinda) with PinePower that the 23 and 27 shouldn't have been changed. I mean, for god sakes, before these changes, I took a 6:45 pm bus on a SATURDAY out of Roosevelt Field to Glen Cove to get the N20 and it was full out of Roosevelt Field. That's insane. I've taken the N23 during the day now after the changes and they're empty. People are even asking to go to Mineola. I'm still confused at who the heck thought of this setup and then who agreed that it would work. I could see so many more people taking the LIRR now.
  11. OK, I have a proposal: Bring back the Q79, have it run weekdays only, hourly, both directions between Floral Park and Little Neck.
  12. Got on an Orion VII NG HEV (from Jamaica depot) today on the Q30 and IT WAS THE FIRST TIME I EVER SAW PRINTED MAPS AVAILABLE ON THE BUS! They're the September 2011 ones.
  13. And some say hybrid-electric bus on the roof!
  14. Yeah, pinepower was complaining about that to NICE. That can be fixed. I think the provlem is that on the new programs, such as the n24 to Hicksville, the "n24" is too small.
  15. If this is just some internet forum to you, then you should leave.
  16. You forgot 1758 (does not show the blue stripe). Also, can you please add 1832 to the list?
  17. Do you take drugs that give you these ideas? I mean, most of the things you say and suggest on this forum are insane.
  18. Yea, I use my iPhone. And looks like they're playing dominoes:
  19. UPDATE: The mobile version is OK. The schedules part isn't as good as I think it could be. For example, if I want to go to Hicksville via the N20, I fill in the information and it shows buses that end at Roslyn. They should split the schedules between the different destinations because not all buses on a route terminate at the same point. Also, why are the times in half-hour increments? And you can't pick the current time either. Also, the service alerts page isn't updated because it doesnt say anything about the n6x stop change. And myNICE won't let me sign up, It never confirms my sign-up.
  20. Thanks, and I still can't sign up for MyNICE. Can anyone else?
