Q25toJamaica Posted June 29, 2009 Share #1 Posted June 29, 2009 I heard from ttmg or buschat or somewhere else that it was transferred from FR depot to JFK. If anyone sees it, could you please post back here telling what route, what direction, where, and when you saw it while it still is on that route? Thanks

Both buses (5926 and 7212) were on the Q8 yesterday (it's a good thing I had shots prior, because I was in no position to shoot either).

Q25toJamaica Posted July 4, 2009 Author Share #9 Posted July 4, 2009 I thought it was Baisley Park No luck on the Q10, Q11, Q41, or Q37 today for me for 5926. I'll try Jamaica LIRR station next

Far Rock Depot Posted July 4, 2009 Share #11 Posted July 4, 2009 7212 is a Far Rockaway bus. I havent seen 7212 at FR. Ill double check in the morning. there are VERY FEW ex-PBL RTS' there. and i mean very few. Most of the rts' there are ex-NYCTs.
The Real Posted July 4, 2009 Share #12 Posted July 4, 2009 All Three, 5926, 5995 and 7212 are all at JFK. I was at the depot today and all three were there parked and ready for service. Here is the most current fleet roster: Click Here
Far Rock Depot Posted July 4, 2009 Share #13 Posted July 4, 2009 Trev's on point as always!!! I knew 7212 wasnt at FR. I would have noticed an ex-PBL there! lol
nycbusfan Posted July 5, 2009 Share #14 Posted July 5, 2009 I saw 7212 on the Q35 recently so it did spend some time at Far Rockaway.
aemoreira81 Posted July 5, 2009 Share #15 Posted July 5, 2009 I thought it was Baisley Park No luck on the Q10, Q11, Q41, or Q37 today for me for 5926. I'll try Jamaica LIRR station next The RTSs may be weekday-only buses at this point; with the O7s and O7 NGs (121 in all), JFK could likely run all O7s on weekends. BJC Posted July 6, 2009 Share #16 Posted July 6, 2009 ^^Well I did see 5995 and 97xx out in Jamaica on Friday.
trainfan22 Posted July 6, 2009 Share #17 Posted July 6, 2009 I seen this bus last week on the Q8. They changed the seats on that bus, it has orange seats and not the green ones that Green line's RTSs and classics had. I remeber riding those 1100s TMC RTSs and the seats were green. aemoreira81 Posted July 8, 2009 Share #18 Posted July 8, 2009 ^^Well I did see 5995 and 97xx out in Jamaica on Friday. This bus was on the Q37 or Q10 earlier this week (I saw it deadheading up 111 Street), still with a Far Rockaway sticker. I thought it was Baisley Park No luck on the Q10, Q11, Q41, or Q37 today for me for 5926. I'll try Jamaica LIRR station next Sometimes you don't look for it---it looks for you (the time I saw 5926, it was working the Q35 with 1196 as its leader---when both buses were at Far Rockaway; I shot both in Neponsit). I could have swore I rode an 11XX GL TMC with green seats out of the JFK Depot lol. well i remember after the takeover the 1100s were renumbered 5900s and the older models became 4200s. if it was an 1100s under mta it might have been an RTS transfered to Jamaica Buses before it became BP. just a thought. its hard to keep track nowadays what was where before MTA

Are you talking about the ex-Jam TMC's? Nope, I was talking about the Green lines TMCs which were numbered in the 11xx range in Green lines numbering system. aemoreira81 Posted July 13, 2009 Share #25 Posted July 13, 2009 I hadn't been in a position to see 5926 to get a photo of it for a while---and then, with the sun in the right position, it pulled up to Gateway Mall last week.
