jacsnyy Posted July 1, 2009 Share #1 Posted July 1, 2009 This made my day, and brought a smile to the faces of all the passengers on this Q10. I guess a smile was needed after paying $2.25 for their fare.

RTS CNG Command Posted July 1, 2009 Share #7 Posted July 1, 2009 i always thought those seat cushions were too easy to steal!LOL! As for the bus, not actually seats for it? *shakes head* Talk about poor maintenance. That bus is a hazard and should NOT be on the road! Good shot, though. petabread Posted July 1, 2009 Share #9 Posted July 1, 2009 The sad thing is that 5979 has been in the maintenance bay for the last 2 months. In and out, I think it's time that bus goes.

FamousNYLover Posted July 2, 2009 Share #12 Posted July 2, 2009 This made my day, and brought a smile to the faces of all the passengers on this Q10. I guess a smile was needed after paying $2.25 for their fare. That is very wicked. Did it happen on Conduit Av Branch local, Rockaway Blvd Branch local or Limited? Did passengers had to stand up for entire 30-35-45 minutes ride on that bus? If that bus was running on Q60 or Q113 Local, passenger would properly would not be happy standing for long bus ride. Long Live the Green!!!!! 5979 might end up being the first ex-GBL Orion to be reseated. I'm guessing that there's an RTS or Orion at ECH waiting to donate its seats. rmcconnell Posted July 2, 2009 Share #14 Posted July 2, 2009 I'm surprised that everyone's comparing this to Green Bus Lines' maintenance policies. This is nothing like Green -- this is ten times worse than Green!
petabread Posted July 3, 2009 Share #15 Posted July 3, 2009 This bus should not have been on the road at all. This shows that the bus was dispatched and the driver didn't do his pre trip inspection. If that bus was written up the night before then the dispatchers at JFK should have been aware of it. This is a lapse in union workers, not policy.
