Takuma Ishizeki Posted March 25, 2010 Share #1 Posted March 25, 2010 Has the delivery of last batch of NABI 416 suburban buses started yet? If so, which garage is it to? If not, when is it expected to start?

If not, when is it expected to start? From what I say Big Tree Garage in Nutley will be the last Garage to get the New NABI suburbans replacing the 1994 Fixible Metro-D Suburbans. Takuma Ishizeki Posted April 4, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted April 4, 2010 When I was on Amtrak yesterday, I think I saw NABI 416 on route 606X at Hamilton Station yesterday, so I think it began already, to Hamilton Garage. I am not sure if it is transit or suburban, but I DID see it on 606X.
Takuma Ishizeki Posted April 12, 2010 Author Share #4 Posted April 12, 2010 Uh, yeah... I guess there are no more suburban buses to be delivered anymore. The order is only 1,145 and not 1,365 (as shown in NJ Transit's annual report), so TTMG's roster is incorrect. So..., the very last suburban batch was to... Market St Garage! And, uh..., first transit batch is confirmed to... Hamilton Garage. Even I saw it on 606X when I was on Amtrak train. Just remember that 1,145 is the total number of buses of that order. That is correct 250 suburbans 5201-5450 and 895 transits. 5501-6395.

Juan833Blue Posted April 23, 2010 Share #7 Posted April 23, 2010 I'd bet that Hamilton Garage in Mercer County has the 1st NJT NABIs with transit-style seats.
aemoreira81 Posted April 26, 2010 Share #8 Posted April 26, 2010 I'd bet that Hamilton Garage in Mercer County has the 1st NJT NABIs with transit-style seats. They already have about 40 at that garage; the Metro-D transits are being flatbedded out to the scrapyard as a result.

Hold that note on the Metro-Ds heading to the scrapyard, they're trying to keep the ones in good condition in storage.
SirJokaPlaya Posted May 18, 2010 Share #10 Posted May 18, 2010 Hold that note on the Metro-Ds heading to the scrapyard, they're trying to keep the ones in good condition in storage. Yeah, they have about maybe 20 - 30 at the Meadowlands Park And Ride, near the Meadowlands Garage. There's about 30 that had the NJT logos spray painted, and some that haven't been touched. The ones that are not touched, Majority of them are Metro D's with no back door (A la 107, 108, 120, 171, 182)
