I saw an train of R62As at Hoyt-Schermerhorn Streets on the abandoned southbound track yesterday. I was told they were filming a movie. What movie is it?

BTW the consist was 1831-1835 plus an extra car whose number I cant recall as of this point.

R62As at Schermerhorn? Great, great, but can't we use IRT here? Most New Yorkers would know that a would never be at Schermerhorn, but the majority of the rest of the world wouldn't I suppose. That's cool though, lucky actors, getting to use the forbidden platform...

That R62A is a . I saw it last night on Smith-9 Streets when I got home from work. I watched it head towards Coney Island on the line.

Remember, the use the same tracks for the original Pelham 1-2-3 and also many movies were filmed in Hoyt-Scermerhorn. Usually they take the signs off and the station poses for another station. Here's a few examples:

The Warriors (Posed as 96th Street )

Nighthawks (Posed as 57th and 42nd Street ( )

Coming To America (Posed as Supthin Blvd. )

Men In Black II (Posed as 81st Street )

Well, I knew they used the tracks to Court St, but the way I understand it, they were filming at Schermerhorn. Poser stations are cool though, especially the abandoned parts... gives us a rare glimpse at things hardly seen in better detail.

I figured they would be wrapping up the movie by now. So I see they are still filming it. I can't wait to see it.

No, I know that but I you watch real closely when Sayze was fighting with the subway ghost they pass though a Station. It only noticeable for like five seconds but i can tell from the thick pillars that it was Hoyt.

They used that area between Hoyt and Court St for the first Pelham 1,2,3. I guess will see how this turns out.
