Probably a typo.

With the snow, looks like a Plan 4:eek:

Why are underground express services canceled while elevated express (like 4 in Brooklyn) remains?

Trains from the yards are parked on the express track while underground. Above ground also (likr the Culver line). It's also a lot easier to not cancel service when said "elevated Brooklyn express" service doesn't exist.

The term for parking trains in the tunnels is "snow bird(s)"

Soon, other lines will have local only service later on today since the snow is expected to fall until tomorrow afternoon. I would also expect B service to end early tomorrow as well.

(:P & (M) trains will most likely end earlier tomorrow. Also, the Rock Pk (S) might be extended to Euclid (it says on the winter notices but I never seen it for myself)

Yup, even though its Plan 1 (as you probably know, plans are set each day at 11am and for the weekend on Fridays, but for the weekend it was set last Thursday), the trains have to get underground somehow, anywhere from 1-2 feet expected. Its all hands on deck and a lot of favors (and money) being dished out right now.

Some Express train service is canceled(Making local stops instead) to store cars thats in the yard to the underground using express and/or M tracks. Otherwise there will be a boo boo for leaving the yard during the rush.
