FL-9s on the Waterbury Branch 4-18 & 4-19

I was working in Stratford on Friday and heard the familiar horn and spied them across the river. Yeehah! I took a long lunch Friday and went back yesterday for more fanning. I'd like to share some photos with you:

After last night the FL-9s were replaced by a leased Amtrak P40 :(

Metro North refers to them as"Shoreliners" but I think that they are essentially the samething as NJT's Comet's seeing as NJT buys/uses a lot of stuff from MN...

 

 

They look weird without the black stripe down the windows. I saw some other cool NH photos here: http://www.budd-rdc.org/sets/drm-Jun04.html.
