Sea Beach Posted January 19, 2011 Share #1 Posted January 19, 2011 I Was on this outside DeKalb yesterday, we were stuck there for 20 mins due to a stalled train on the Bway side of the Manny B, after 20 mins they gave up and sent us on the 6 Ave up to Rockefeller Ctr, then on the to 21 St, It wouldve made sense to turn us at Forest Hills since thats an actual terminal. It went OOS after 21 St and I was told they made it a put-in out of 57 St-7 Ave via BMT 63 St, this made a very big delay in service since we were there for about 5-6 mins. MattTrain Posted January 20, 2011 Share #2 Posted January 20, 2011 Damn, I had a train do the exact same thing (run via 6 Avenue via to 21 Street Queensbridge) last October on a Friday due to a switch problem right before the Manhattan Bridge. I took no videos/photos because I had a ticked off train crew that day and I didn't want to make the crew's day any worse. Anyways good coverage! I think you caught my C/R friend on the too. 4P3607 Posted January 20, 2011 Share #4 Posted January 20, 2011 very nice catch! It would have been nice to Find an R68A going up there. The last time that happened was in 2001 (or whenever the (Q6Av) stopped running).

The last time that happened was in 2001 (or whenever the (Q6Av) stopped running). And any R68A stopping there was a late night ( since the (Q)was all R40 Slants by 2001 (And finally had a orange bullet cuz the 68s lack orange Qs).
