Born and raised in Bay Ridge (86th st/4th Ave), remember waiting to meet my dad as he got off the subway (RR, back in those days) and just think that the Subway is the easiest and coolest way to get around. Member of the Transit Museum, anyone else? Going to Rockaway Park on the nostalgia train this weekend. If you are going as well, please lmk. My son and I will be going to the Coney Island Yard tour in August. We will probably make a day of it, with a ride on the Cyclone and take in a Brooklyn Cyclone minor league game.
