Due to a police investigation Between Queens Plaza, and Northern Blvd, the stations are evacuated. This is during AM Rush to Midday. Reroute!

(E) runs between Chambers Street and 23rd Street-Court Square ONLY!

(M) runs with the (F) via 63rd after 47-50, resumes normal route at 74th Street-Roosevelt and is extended to 179th Street

(R) runs via 63rd Street between 57th-7th and Roosevelt Avenue, then runs normal and is extended to Jamaica Center

(Note: Select (R) trains during this time run Whitehall Street-Jamaica Center, these would normally be signed as (E) )

(F) runs full express in Queens while the (M) and  (R) are extended.

Due to construction, the (A) line is completely suspended. How should customers travel?

(E) up to 145th

(F) normal route

(M) via 63rd

(R) via 63rd after 57th

(M) and (R) run express to Roosevelt. For bypassed stations from Court Sq to Roosevelt, use the (7), Q101 and Q66.

Then this (A) line suspension is for this purpose actually the entire 8th Avenue line (207th Street-Fulton Street) and assumes such is the case. For this purpose, only 145th Street and points north on the 6th Avenue line are in operation in that area for this scenario (also assuming this is on a weekend):

Special (A) express shuttle bus operates from 207th Street, stopping at all (A) stations to Columbus Circle and also stopping on 57th Street at 7th Avenue and 6th Avenue and then at 53rd Street and Lexington Avenue before then running non-stop to the High Street station in Brooklyn.

Local shuttle bus makes all local stops between 207th Street and West 4th Street-6th Avenue.  Passengers are asked where possible to take the (1) in place of the CPW lines and in Brooklyn use alternate lines for lower Manhattan.

(A) runs High Street-Far Rockaway ONLY (regular service in Brooklyn)!
Special weekend (B) service between Brighton Beach and 42nd Street-6th Avenue
(C) and (E) are suspended
(D) runs via the Broadway Line between 57th Street-7th Avenue and Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center (via the Bridge)
(D) also runs between 145th Street in Manhattan and 205th Street in The Bronx.
(F) is re-routed after Jay Street-Metrotech via Fulton local and replaces the (C) and then (A) to Lefferts Boulevard (all times during this)
(G) is extended to Coney Island to replace the (F) south of Church Avenue
Extra (J) service is added between Broad Street and Broadway Junction
(M) runs as if it were a weekday and is extended to Jamaica Center to replace the (E)
(R) is extended to 179th Street to avoid slowing up the (M)

(5) train derails at 14 st union square commuters who use the Lexington ave line on a daily basis are extremely pissed there are a bunch of service changes

Reroute away

Assuming this is in a period of weekend G.O.s:

(3) to New Lots Av full time.

No (4)(6) below Grand Central.

No (5) below E 180 st.

Times sq (S) runs full time.

If the clark St tunnels are out at this time, shuttle (4) and (5) trains run between Borough hall/Atlantic Av and New Lots Av/Flatbush Av

Reroute away

This one is very simple:

(4) runs in two sections:

Woodlawn to Grand Central (local, select trains terminate at 59th Street)

Brooklyn Bridge to Utica Avenue (late night to New Lots)

(5) runs via the (2) between 149th Street and Nevins Street (select trains runs normal route to 86th Street and terminate there on the express level)

(6) terminates at Grand Central (select trains terminate at 59th Street).

NEXT:

A power failure east of William Street in Manhattan has knocked power out to much of the eastern portion of financial district EXCEPT for the extreme lower end, allowing the Montauge and Joralemon street tubes to be used and their lines to be unaffected (South Ferry is also unaffected), including the Nassau Street line (this also assumes the connection to the Nassau Line from Montauge is operable).  The Cranberry, Clark and Rutgers Street tubes are affected, however, the Manhattan and Williamsburg Bridges and their respective lines are NOT affected by this.

What I want you to do for mine is to reroute the OTHER lines (such as the (J) to Brooklyn since the (4) isn't running) and shuttl buses.

Besides that though, how is construction in one segment of the line going to require the suspension of both lines. Its not realistic, nor would anyone take that approach. You kinda amswered your own scenario too.
