Guest MTA Bus Posted July 29, 2012 Share #5 Posted July 29, 2012 That's the beauty of the R160. They have programs for reroutes that will probably never happen.
TheSubwayStation Posted July 29, 2012 Share #6 Posted July 29, 2012 That's the beauty of the R160. They have programs for reroutes that will probably never happen. Exactly. That's what makes crazy R160 signage LESS "foam-worthy" IMO . I mean, I'm sure you can find a program for something like an to Rockaway Park via Concourse Express... Quill Depot Posted July 29, 2012 Share #7 Posted July 29, 2012 Yeah. It's not that much of a huge foam thing.

4P3607 Posted July 29, 2012 Share #9 Posted July 29, 2012 I like how the MTA programming for dramatic reroutes such as to Far Rock exist, yet a simple programming like to 168 st or to South Ferry Don't exist. It makes no sense. Nice catch whoever took the video, though that dramatic music is kinda tacky... EDIT: I found another one, credits to whoever took the video on YT: This time it's to Jamaica-179... at least thats what I see.

Guest Lance Posted July 30, 2012 Share #12 Posted July 30, 2012 The R160s have the all of the crazy reroutes, but not the R142/As. There are some interesting route options on the 142s, like the 6 to New Lots or Woodlawn or the 5 to Times Sq or South Ferry via 7th Avenue. It's just that there aren't a whole lot of places you can send these trains on the A-Division. That's what limits the amount of line reroute options. Guest MTA Bus Posted July 31, 2012 Share #15 Posted July 31, 2012 I find it very ironic that the and have a program to South Ferry, but the doesn't.
