(6)Hello all new to this site. I guess like a lot of people I have had a love for trains since I was young. I would take the train with my grandfather into manhattan all the time. I also recently purchased my first train set and I am looking to get thr R-27 lionel set possibly. If anybody has any tips or advice for me they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome aboard! I'm into HO and have the Proto 1000 R-17's. Couldn't afford Lionel when I was a kid and can't justify it now but always admired it. Lots of good photography here so this is a good site for those of us who don't live in New York to see the trains. Enjoy yourself!
