Posted on:10/13/2008 7:58:19 On the (L)Plus MaBSTOAs (m1, 6 and 15) And X-press Bus QUEENS USERS: Due to a train with mechanical problems at the Flushing-Main Street Station, Flushing-bound (ROOSEVELT AVENUE LOCAL/EXPRESS) trains are terminating at the Willets Point-Shea Stadium Station. BRONX USERS: In addition, due to switch problems at the Eastchester-Dyre Avenue Station, there is no service on the (DYRE AVENUE LOCAL/EXPRESS) trains in both directions between the E. 180th Street Station and the Eastchester-Dyre Avenue Station. Stations being bypassed are: Morris Park, Pelham Parkway, Gun Hill Road, Baychester Avenue and Dyre Avenue. As an alternative, customers are advised to take (WHITE PLAINS ROAD LOCAL) train to the Bx12, Bx16, Bx28, or Bx30 bus making nearby station stops. Please expect delays in and train service. BROOKLYN USERS Also, due to ongoing track maintenance, please expect delays in train service in both directions at this time. MANHATTAN: Why is there a STREET fair at 8pm ??:eek: In addition, due to a street fair in Lower Manhattan: Local M1 and M6 buses will make southbound M15 bus stops on Pearl Street and Water Street. Southbound buses will leave Broadway at Ann Street and run non-stop via Park Row and Frankfort Street to Pearl Street and Water Street to Hanover Square. The X1, X3, X4, X10, X11, X12, X16, X17A, X17C, X19, X27, X28, and X29 express buses will make the following stops: * Frankfort Street at Pearl Street * Water Street at Fulton Street * Maiden Lane and Hanover Square Please expect delays in Lower Manhattan bus service at this time. The has been going on since this afternoon. Sounds like NY is quite interesting...BTW, I guess they're just taking down everything from that street fair, hence why that's still up.
