(MTA)I hope I'm doing this right. I am Tabb Carter. I am a big L.I.R.R. fan with ambition to become a locomotive engineer. I am also a former block operator

for Amtrak. I worked for Amtrak from January 1983, to March 1987. The last post I bid and won was second trick,(3:00p.m. to 11:00p.m.), at Penn Station's C Tower; (East end of track 19). I was also qualified on A Tower levers, Kn, F, Q, and R towers. I will be taking the upcoming open-competative muliple choice train operator test for N.Y.C.T. in June. I am also

a member of the Long Island Sunrise Trail of the N.R.H.S.

I was wondering if all of us railfans could get together and go as a group to

see "The Taking of Pelham 1:23. It opens June 12/09 Friday. I'll volunteer to

research theatre locations times and special group rate arrangements.

Whomever of you would be best to steer me in the right direction concerning "Pelham" can reach me at 1/516-825-2874.

That's all I can think of for now. Peace.

Tabb L. Carter

Welcome! You seem like a really nice guy who's good at planning events. I think you'll be a great addition around here. B)
