  1. I believe the former Academy units will be used strictly for the Hudson County routes. The Coach USA branded buses will stick to the 24, 31, and 44
  2. And an era comes to an end. No. 22 Hillside Corp will no longer operate the Hudson County bus routes effective tomorrow, so get your rides while you can.
  3. Yes. Whether Elizabeth can hold additional buses is to be determined
  4. If you see Coach USA buses doing test runs on the those routes, it's a given. They take those routes starting next month, whenever it is. So say goodbye to No. 22 Hillside Corp, which is a fall for them on local routes
  5. Come some time next month, ONE Bus will take over the routes. For now, Academy still have them.
  6. Not those routes, the 10 and 119 are returning to Coach USA, the others are going to be switching operator for the first time in a long time
  7. Looks like Academy's fall from grace continues, as it seems they have lost the Hudson County bus lines contract as well. The 2, 22, 23, 88, and making their return to Coach USA; the 10, and the 119. The op will be coming from Elizabeth garage
  8. Agree with this sentiment. They (Coach USA) have trouble keeping schedule with the 24 and 31 routes they have...
  9. I mean... tit for tat like scenario??? Honestly, any route serving the GWBBT can work, just needs lots of work, marketing wise.
  10. The last of the true high floor bus model, outside of the MCI coaches.
  11. 9530 officially has the black paint of death, per a picture on Facebook
  12. It would be best if Academy Perth Amboy gave those NABIs to Suburban. The deadhead to/from Paramus is unnecessary for local routes
  13. And the fact that Coach USA also bid for the #2, and #88 routes in Jersey City don't be surprised if those routes go away, if and when, they assume to take control over those two routes. To clarify: I saw that they bid for those 2 routes, but if I'm wrong about it, then disregard. Might've been a rumor, idk.
  14. It appears that 17067 is back from the dead, I hope, currently tracking online at CMF
  15. Well Gov. Murphy has cancelled the contract with Academy for the Middlesex County local routes, and has urged NJT to investigate
  16. 5760 moved from A&C Bus to NJT pending reassignment. Bus spotted at CMF repainted to NJT colors on Facebook
  17. So the question would be, who would be getting the rest of the ex Saddle River MCIs?
  18. Both were retired for.... *checks notes* "failed inspection" since A&C Bus received them
