  1. Well, the flight home went well. Got upgraded (for free) to Economy Plus and the DirecTV actually worked for the entire flight. Still miss In-N-Out though.

so Untied airlines didn't abuse you? :P

  2. I just got the T2i, $600+tax with a free bag at Best Buy. Came out to $649 with Texas sales tax, it'll be a bit more in NY though. If you really want to save on that go to the one in Jersey City by the Newport Mall for 3.5% tax. I'd go to Best Buy and see if you can still get that deal, you should be able to but you might have to order it online and go for in-store pickup or have it shipped.
  3. Flight home got cancelled, so I'm going home in the morning. Best part about that is that I got to ride 2 DART buses for FREE (broken fareboxes) today!

  4. Heading home tonight. I'm gonna miss In-N-Out.

  5. Got my DSLR and went to In-N-Out! Now that's a great day!

  6. OK, so there's a few In-N-Out Burgers near my hotel, and I'm not letting that pass me by like I did in SF. Anyone ever try them? I hear they're great.

  7. In Dallas, getting my new camera tomorrow.

  8. Going to Dallas tomorrow morning, gotta wake up at 4AM. Picking up my Canon T2i tomorrow or Tuesday.

Don't forget to bring batteries or a charger (if it uses one).

      Comes with both.

  9. Ordered my DSLR (Canon T2i), picking it up in Texas early next week. Can't wait!

  10. I believe orders coming from the Plattsburgh plant make their way (by rail) down the Hudson Line all the way through CSX and MNCR territory into the city. I forget which yard they are delivered to, but I believe Livonia since I know it has a railroad connection. They probably come down the Hell Gate line to get there.
  11. Well, the R&Ts and the one(s) in service with Newark Airport Express don't have the 3 in front like the Novas, but that could change. This is Coach USA after all.
  12. Dallas is a week away! RTS LNGs here I come!

  13. Thing is, NY residents would probably benefit more from that route (like the S89) so it could be operated. Like I said before, a route that benefits both states' residents should be run by a PBL with equal funding from both sides IMO, but if one state benefits more that state should operate the route. If a lot of NJ residents end up using the route, then NJT should subsidize its operation or a PBL should take it over with equal funding from NJ and NY.
  14. Wow, now that I saw Ted and theres thunder and lightning out I can't help but sing the thunder buddy song.

It really is a lot like Family Guy right? I thought so. Saw it last night.

  15. No, Kawasaki's plant is connected to the Metro-North Hudson Line. If you're thinking the trains go from Kawasaki down MNR/Amtrak to Penn that still isn't possible, there's no track connection in Penn from Amtrak/NJT/LIRR to the subway system. Subway cars are never at that plant unless they are being assembled or having major work done on them.
  16. The Kawasaki plant doesn't have a direct track connection to the subway system!
  17. Something to the Woodbridge area should be operated by Academy, but for the Newark area Coach USA is already the main PBL so they should operate a route that goes there. I'd honestly go RTS/NABI, though for a route that goes to the airport MCIs might work due to the overhead storage. But then again, NABIs can get luggage racks, so I really don't know. Academy has some Nova LFSes (ex-Rutgers) that I'd love to see on any route they operate, they probably won't brand the SI-NJ route(s) as NJT so they'd have to either brand some NABIs/RTSes as Academy or just bring out some buses they own directly like the LFSes for operation on a directly-controlled Academy route. They also have D60LFs from Rutgers as well, maybe if the route(s) get(s) good ridership they can use those.
  18. Smart ideas. Port Richmond to Newark Penn via Jersey Gardens, IKEA, and the airport. That'll get a ton of ridership. I personally think that on routes where both states' riders will benefit, they should be operated by one of the PBLs (in this case probably Coach USA) with equal funding from both states.
  19. It's a much larger mall than SI with different stores (like 1 additional anchor than SI, 2 once Boscov's opens next year in the old Fortunoff), and there's a ton of SIers that go there. Half the cars in the parking lot there on any given day have NY plates. If they run a bus there from SI it's likely to get good ridership. It'd also probably boost the amount of people that shop in the mall, since there's probably SIers that won't go over the bridge nowadays thanks to the Port Authority's ridiculous tolls.
  20. Hey, I enjoy camping out in the Queens Center Mall and causing riots over my spot in line for those expensive show-offy sneakers! *sarcasm* Seriously, I can't understand why people camp out for those. Camp out for the new iPhone or something like that, fine, but sneakers?
  21. Hell yeah! Central NJ needs a public transit link to Staten Island, one from Woodbridge to SI would probably get great ridership because already a lot of people from SI shop at the Woodbridge mall. They could probably operate it middays and weekends too instead of rush hours only like the S89. Though I don't know if it should be NJT or MTA operated. I guess NJT, since the MTA already has the S89. I'd love to see more Orions on the streets of Jersey, but I guess it'd also be interesting seeing RTSes./NABIs on Staten Island.
