  2. Giant loop. Changes signage anytime at terminal D/C/B. Most times it's D.
  3. SIM24 goes to outerbridge. SIM22 runs past ETC to (around the S89) eltingville terminal via NJ
  4. That was the original route at one point. Might as well make it permanent since the bus lane is what they use most times.
  5. There is something called "buses getting maintenance". That sometimes takes well over a week and that most certainly does not mean they are retired even is it's around their retirement date. For instance, 4739 from GA has not seen service for at least 2 weeks (and probably longer than that). It has been sitting at Zerega as recently as yesterday.
  6. LGA/Q53 should only need 33 buses for summer service. So only 5987-5990 should be transferred.
  7. Managed to get a quick look at 7851. If anyone is wondering if the bus has the full rooftop option, I can confirm that is the case. This means the entire top will look similar to the XDE40.
  8. Nobody confirmed what buses are being ordered (XE40/ZX5, the replacement of the BE40). The charger could possibly be an upgrade that could better meet demands for electric use for the MTA.
  9. Buses do not officially retire/head oos until they are removed from the system.
  10. It's funny because I heard someone was camping for hrs at 96 St for the R142 and it never showed up.
  11. Considering only about 50 or so buses out of 329 are here and 75% of the current fleet being about 37 buses they have plenty of time to fix the issues.
  12. The Q10 to Lefferts and the Airtrain station is better if you're not tryna pay too much.
  13. However, Meredith is assigned at least one reverse peak trip to my knowledge.
  14. You realize nearly every non-SBS route does this on the regular yes?
  15. The 2013s are built with better specs so they'll probably be out around when the first X3-45s begin to retire.
  16. I know early on during delivery there was problems and the order was reduced from 126 to 59 then to 41. Of the 18 units sold to NJT I believe one of them had a malfunctioning engine that lead to early retirement.
  17. The thing about that is there was rarely any advertising before service started and by the time it was actually showed off properly it was weeks after service began. You let people know about things at least weeks in advance in order for things to succeed and of course the MTA knew that. Difference here is they know they can get away with it because not many people really care about a vaccine bus to the point there was enough demand for communities to fight back if the service was discontinued.
  18. They were too focused on catchin the R68 and the R179 in the Bronx.
