  1. I hope you realize that new equipment or not EVERYONE HAS TO BE TRAINED for CBTC. You have to train the crews on R211s regardless of where you put them. Putting them in Jamaica is no different than putting them at 207th St or Pitkin.
  2. Because you gotta make sure it's an R179 that way you can be able to yell Bombardier sucks cry all night and make sure to grab your lawyer to sue a company that will transfer it's rail division to someone else. /s
  3. This is honestly the best setup for the express buses, especially since the USBS are right next to to the stop request button.
  4. Not to even mention ADA accessibly for some riders
  5. 3-4 people with me at the stop. All waiting at the BxM stop and not the M101/103 stop. Also signaled him to stop as he approached me. And yeah I'll definitely keep that link for future reference.
  6. @Via Garibaldi 8i want to report a bus driver that happened to be the 8:00PM BxM8 out of 120th St. He has the audacity to pass my stop and I was lucky he was at a stop light otherwise I would have missed the bus. When I hit the door to let him know I was boarding he has the audacity to yell at me and tell me there was another bus I could get (the next BxM8 was 15+ min away). We had a little argument and he called me f*cking crazy. BxM8 bus #3395, run number 921
  7. So I don't make a useless thread, I'mma post a proposed "OWL" service here based on how the MTA could expand overnight replacement bus service. https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1Ack68Fhk0kuq5Tg_wJ_tnDuMQmWO4O94&usp=sharing Notes: M99 renamed B98 to both establish it as a Brooklyn interborough route and in honor of adding a new M99 (see below) Bx98 between Wakefield and City Hall (Foley Square) operating on a path similar to the north of Tremont and on Lenox, the between Whitlock Avenue and E 138th Street and south of 42nd Street, and the along CPW. This route operates via Lexington Av or Madison Av between 23 Street and 42nd Street. B96 between Coney Island and Columbus Circle operating on a path similar to the south of Fort Hamilton Parkway, the between Smith-9 Street and Church Avenue, and along the / between Bowling Green and 59th Street via Madison/5 Av north of 23 St. This route operates via the Hugh L Grant tunnel between Manhattan and Brooklyn. New M99 between Red Hook and East Harlem operating via the between Smith-9 Street and Jay Street and the between Houston Street and 125th Street via Madison/Lexington Avenue. This route operates via Grand Street and connects with the Bx99 at it's northern terminal. Some stops are also added/slightly modified in Manhattan to better serve subway stops.
  8. The reroute was terrible with communication but at the same time they lost me when Buford said "there are plenty of stories where people assault subway conductors, maybe on 34th Street, for example. They don’t just stop running the trains on 34th Street because of that, the subways continue". Yes because the trains definitely continue to operate when you assault an MTA employee that is operating your train.
  9. Bx99 between Woodlawn and West Village-Spring Street via Jerome Av, Grand Concourse, 1/2 Av, 57th St, 11/10 Av, and Hudson/Varick St: https://platform.remix.com/map/11e5dc2/line/4ec662c?dir=0&latlng=40.80821,-73.90408,10.74&layer=hifi&sidebarCollapsed=true M99 between Hell Kitchen/West Side Pier and New Lots via 11/10 Av, 6 Av/Varick St, Canal St, Manhattan Bridge, Fulton St, Rockaway Av, and New Lots Av: https://platform.remix.com/map/11e5dc2/line/7d31de2?dir=0&latlng=31.50364,0,2&layer=hifi&sidebarCollapsed=true
  10. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/07/21/nyregion/mta-subway-financial-cuts.html
  11. Already added at least a week ago. And it goes up to the 145 St Bridge.
  12. I guess those buses are done and went through as much as they could.
  13. You would think that adding another loop on the island wouldn't be on the MTA's agenda rn especially since I'm 95% sure they are finding ways to cut bus service.
  14. So 1300 was Renumbered to 0023. Any reason for the renumber?
  15. Yes and no. The OGs are ok but if the MTA's financial situation dosen't improve soon then they'll be dropping more like flies
  16. You had me until you mentioned orange J. Even if I agreed with the plan (I don't) why would you make things a lot more complicated for and riders?
  17. Even without "uniformity" the R160s are more at Jamaica for CBTC work. I predict that after the R211s we would see the Siemens move from Jamaica back to Coney Island. Want uniformity? Siemens at Coney Island, Alstom at Jamaica. Simple way to keep it around.
  18. Just saying if it wasn't you there was no need to reply at all to make it more believable. Anyways, no need to focus on this anymore. Carry on.
  19. My comment was meant for Mr. Happy. Unless, you are Mr. Happy and this is a second account you made🤔🤔🤔. Funny thing is this account I'm replying to is a month old too.
  20. Idk why you keep asking for these "updates" when you get them as soon as it's available from a reliable source. Without asking.
  21. All door boarding, pretty sure the eagle team will either check tickets or your phone to see if you paid.
