This is why FB should of gotten most of the Kingsbridge buses along with some Fresh Pond/Grand Avenue buses. Staten Island buses are problematic. However, Brooklyn division breeds the best mechanics 🧰

Sometimes I wonder about the people that work at the department of buses and make these executive decisions. This one here I agree with you. They should of sent 7130-7133 instead of 7108-7109.
Honestly, I don’t want to be the person to shut down an idea but in this case. The job of an express bus is to shuttle persons travel to and from the central business district and not the beach. So in plain English. No X28 service to Coney Island beaches. You have the trains for that.
Let’s see how the Bx12 to Orchard Beach scales out this summer. Also, Nassau scales back on the Jones Beach specials also something to look at

The same way there’s no express bus service to Orchard Beach direct. No need for a useless resource like this. I wouldn’t want to pay almost 14 dollars round trip to Coney Island. (Not that dirty area of Brooklyn). No thanks!
