  1. 4532 went back to FP. Looks like a short term loan. 4572 still at UP?
  2. Listen. We all here live busy lives. It doesn’t take a few minutes to check the other pages to see if the buses in question have been reported. Now, I’m starting to notice that running a transit forum is no easy fate. Tons of work and man hours are accounted to provide accurate reporting. However, as of late clowns are deciding to disrupt something viable especially with the moves and it means going back to the old ways of visual observations of buses being shifted from one depot to another. #carryon
  3. Good luck on that. That’s if the NYPD decides to do a 12noon or 3PM shutdown of all streets in the area and bus service will be screwed up until late PM.
  4. At this point. Whatever the issue is Bustrek is no longer available to the public. No need for the back and forth plus screenshots. I was always taught this. If you don’t want stragglers in the mix you gotta protect home. Keep the noisy people out of the mix. This is how things get real messy in a New York minute.
  5. Than the bus is a short term loan. 4532 is reportedly at Ulmer Park too. Looks like Fresh Pond decals is on that bus. If someone is in Canarsie get a visual on that bus. Last checked bus is in Canarsie heading to Bensonhurst.
  6. Copy. Needed some clarification. Thanks @MysteriousBtrain
  7. Per: @Flatbush SBS Duece & @Orion6025 4572 to Ulmer Park with decals. On the B64 right now. Bus worked the B6 this AM
  8. Last we all checked Ulmer Park does not want anything to do with those NG’s. DOB figured hey let’s give Ulmer Park a few NG’s to play around with until more XD40’s come in from West Farms. PS: 4572 on the B64 right now. Whoever in Bay Ridge check and see if there’s an actual UP decal on that bus.
  9. That is a loan from Grand Avenue. That ain’t staying at Ulmer Park. Hopefully it doesn’t have Ulmer Park decals.
  10. ..... and no buses moving out between the 2 depots to MQ, MV, FB.
  11. That 138 XN40 order was definitely not enough. Not only that West Farms sent back buses to Gleason. At this point we are at the mercy of the Department of buses to see if and when buses will return back to Ulmer Park. Right now Grand Avenue is on the board for more XD40’s. If Fresh Pond wants to complete 65 buses allotment. They need to take from Grand Avenue. There gaps of numbers between Fresh Pond and Grand.
  12. That person gotta be the biggest douchebag. OMG. These new so-called buffs don’t learn etiquette at all.
  13. You got a point @DetSMART45 I feel the 82SBS was a rush job just for the TA to cover themselves. Hey, we get fed money. Let’s do this thing called SBS and conjure the language so that there’s benefit. However, in actually the numbers don’t match the people utilizing the service.
  14. Fam. Let’s realize something here. These drivers are very much restricted to what they can do in regards to speed and reliability. All this vision zero messed everything up. Whether your bus is packed or not there will always be an issue. Transportation is not instant gratification. I’ve bet you heard the saying: You must allow extra time for your commute or just simply leave a bit earlier to get where you are going.
  15. Sometimes there is no control with the traffic. Some of you guys need to practice patience. That’s the luxury of public transportation. Not everything will be on your side. There is the luxury of being in your car and not having to deal with subpar bus service. But also that’s something East New York needs to fix or else you will have people on that side of Midwood complaining and b***ching about the 82SBS and I know East New York does not want a Quill situation to where Flatbush takes all the SBS routes and they get stuck with peanuts.
  16. Another example I’d like to point out is Kingsbridge 43xx buses. Simultaneously in the same situation as the Flatbush 42xx buses. However, those Kingsbridge buses are finally being moved to Manhattan and Brooklyn slowly. They have so much mileage in the Bronx that it is about time for those buses to venture outside The Bronx. However, in due time those NG’s will be out of The Bronx. Excellent points: @EastFlatbushLarry
  17. Also in LA they have bigger highways + infrastructure and they can support that. Forget that notion in New York City where people think they are privileged and the governor can’t get his s*it together with the
  18. .... and this is what happens when Command Bus is taken over by the . All those 3rd and 4th Avenue stops are severely under utilized and that's slowing the service. It's unnecessary to have these stops on 4th Avenue and 3rd Avenue and no one is using them.
