  1. Proterras have appeared on the 24, 38, 47, 48, and Q59. Thru observations I’ve seen them on the B38, 47 and 48 all during daytime hours. Theres a picture on here showing one appeared in the 24.
  2. As of this Sunday we could possibly see these on the line. 1083 and 1086 are here in NYC.
  3. Absolutely no merging of the Q39 and the B20 under no circumstances. I’m trying to figure this fantasy of merging the 2 lines. (Someone help me on this) The 2 lines serve completely different markets.
  4. Yes, that’s also here. As of right now i assume they are heading to Flatbush Ave (FB) once acceptance is complete. Also spotted some more WF and JG buses at the lot.
  5. What about dispatch. Does it come out of Castelton, Yukon or Charleston? or it’s mixed?
  6. Are there more Castleton lines at St.George than Yukon and Charleston??? And the dispatch that hangs out at St. George is usually from Castelton or Yukon. (Haven’t been in Staten Island in years).
  7. Just only wish they could spot check all the other lines along with the SBS.
  8. The Q39 has no business in Brooklyn under no circumstances. I know everyone has the notion about the B20 ending at Broadway Junction. However, from Broadway Junction to Postal Facility is only 2.5 miles and Postal Fac to Ridgewood is 5 miles. At this point is to leave the B20 and Q39 alone. Queens Plaza to Broadway-East New York is double the mileage and double the headache. That’s a bus ride I personally wouldn’t want to endure. Sorry.
  9. Let the 3 month rental begin. Get your cameras out and capture 0023 in action.
  10. Will this mean FP and East New York transferring a fair share of OG hybrids to JFK/Far Rock/Baisley Park? Since 6501 is now in Queens.
  11. Copy copy. Here’s my thing. If you have a good reputation with the dispatcher especially it’s from the depot of origin (i dunno the dispatch at St. George but I’m assuming the dispatch is from Yukon) I know that when I was taking the bus i would see certain B6 ops get the OK from the dispatcher sitting on Glenwood and Nostrand to leave a few mins early. I believe at the time the dispatch was Flatbush based and he also looked out a lot during the AM rush via the B41/44/103 at Junction. The Spring Creek dispatch traveled between checkpoint and junction.
  12. That could of been the 6:52 bus. However, the driver was being a douche about the time situation he f**ked up everyone else’s commute just to please the dispatcher or what have you. A normal operator wouldn’t do that at all. Either that op doesn’t have pull yet to run hot and getting OK from dispatch. I’m in agreement with @Deucey. Just glad you got his ID.
  13. Damm. Staten Island b/o being ultra petty. SMDH. I guess he didn’t mention the fact he was running hot and the dispatcher would chew him up once he arrived at St. George. The last time that happen to me was with a Ulmer Park operator. We left New Lots than once the bus got to Canarsie we sat at Rockaway for about 15 mins all b/c he ran hot and this was a late night.
  14. Check The real’s response to me. It’s along the same lines. Both 5771-86 and 5306-25 will be replacing the D60’s when the new buses come in October.
  15. In that instance I do agree with you. I totally forgot that WF has D60 fleet that needs to be gone. Also, is WF scheduled to receive buses from Gleason or is that vice versa since some of Gleason’s artics are in NYC and delivery has begun.
  16. Gun Hill or Kingsbridge or a split between the two for the 53xx’s. (or too early to tell)
  17. The 1200’s won’t be going to chop-shop anytime soon. Those buses haven’t reached 12 years old yet and they are in decent condition with the recent overhaul of the buses. Just MCH buses need to be overhaul for the program. Just that the Bronx will have a surplus on the artics. I think FB’s 53xx buses more or less will be Manhattan bound rather than Bronx bound. If I were a bettor in this situation i see those 38 buses being shifted to TU and some of their XD60’s to Quill. **Just kinda wished that the could built another CFM in Brooklyn that specializes with novas at least you have some from Staten Island at the Brooklyn facility rather than the long haul to The Bronx** Is there a possibly that SI could be New Flyer in the near future?
  18. Bus lanes been on Penn Ave from Seaview to Valhalla (at least going northbound) for about a month. You are a little late on that. Right now, no cameras 📷 yet. However, soon enough, and I think that bus lane is 24 hours? I could be wrong. Dunno, if they installed lanes southbound to Starrett.
  19. Just as others eluded, you will have 1 or 2 buses run behind schedule and have them signed as Limited. I've seen them run to Rockaway Parkway than they run local to Starrett City. Would be wishful thinking to run both the B82 and B6 limited on Sundays. However, will claim they don't need limited on weekends, but in actually they need.
  20. B35 Conversion.. Here we come. But first, training.. Hopefully 1073 and 1079 make their way soon enough.
  21. Following buses unwrapped from FB +selectbusservice+: 7325-7329. Spotted 7326 and 7327 working the B44 local earlier this morning.
  22. Just as I predicted. 7356-7365 to East New York. Now: Ulmer Park to possibly receive 7336-7355
