  1. Once again? Who do you think you're talking to? I said what I said, some buses may not appear on radar. Theres been times buses show large gaps in service but one bus show up because its not on gps.
  2. Some buses may not be on the radar. Today I was waiting for the B82 select and it showed a near 20 minute gap but the bus showed up 6 minutes instead of 20. That bus just wasn’t on gps.
  3. weren't they going to extend that route further up broadway?
  4. Some of these routes are ridiculous and don’t reflect the current demographics nor travel patterns of today. Cutting the B82 at Coney Island Avenue? People use it way past that point, cutting the B7? People use that route to get to the B and Q train. Routes along the belt? It won’t work. cutting the B100? You’re asking for a mob with pitchforks.
  5. Then what next? The judge will rule that the busway will be okay to go through and someone else will threaten to sue again?
  6. You mean a month? Glad to hear, the M14 sbs would be very effective now.
  7. No more Cng buses. The MTA is going electric after the XDE40 bus order.
  8. Makes me wonder what if the actual L train shutdown had happened, what would the original shuttle bus plan outcome have been?
  9. People will utilize the subway over a bus any day. I think the mta thought that since in the original plan many riders were going to displaced due to a full shutdown that they thought they were going to need the same bus treatments for the new plan. Fall is coming so I guess they’ll cut back on it.
  10. I know that, I was just thinking, also I was answering a question. You see that’s why I said they got them for the sbs launch. I literally said what you just said.
  11. I guess, MJQ was just lumped into there for the sbs launch of the M14. I'm not sure whats going to happen when the TA get their buses from bus company.
  12. I could see 6127-6145 will be quills, 6146-6195 will be Hales, 6196-6233 will be Flatbush, along with some older XD60s. Just a prediction.
  13. I think one of the main reasons why buses are slow is because how long it spends at a bus stop because everyone pays at the front and also the spacing of stops.
  14. I have a feeling FB is going to give up their new XD60s to Mother Clara Hale and end up getting the latter third of the XD60 order. Just a thought.
  15. The B35 and B82 overtook the B41?!
  16. Farebeating may play an issue. You don't pay but walk in the back of the bus then ridership is going to look down.
  17. Really? Come on now. Your issue was with one damn bus that didn’t have an OMNY reader on it, and a newly delivered one at that. Again you’re taking this damn seriously, calm down.
  18. It’s still in testing phase my dude. Test means before full implementation. Almost everyone uses metrocards so what is your point? They’re testing it out so why would newer buses have them installed when MAJORITY of New Yorkers use metrocards? You’re really taking this too passionately.
  19. They’re transitioning into OMNY which will take a few years and by that point they will be installed on all buses. You can’t expect them to instal an OMNY reader on a bus when most riders still have metro cards. Also Metrocards are still the main payment option so OMNY isn’t a priority when putting a bus into service. Staten Island is just the testing phase for it.
  20. Last year the B35 wasn't supposed to go artic until winter of 2018, but around late august into September it went artic, even though JG depot wasn't "artic ready" it converted the line months before it was supposed to be. I could the same thing happening to ENY, but from the looks of it they are probably doing clearance testing. The B35 went through the same thing I believe a long while before the XN60s came in.
  21. ENY isn’t ready for artics just yet. They will be next summer as the plan has always been. CS which houses the Q12 is artic ready but as of now ENY depot isn’t. That’s always been the plan since last year. Don’t worry Brooklyn will get it’s articulated routes in due time.
