  1. They have 3 buses as of now. But i'm guessing they want the training to be done quicker since you can train more drivers with 3 buses instead of 1.
  2. Either training or Castleton is getting new buses, if the ladder is happening, be prepared for 2015 LFS buses to be transferred to Yukon.
  3. Most likely the S79 SBS fleet will be pooled with the local fleet, I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of the LFS's are local scheme.
  4. Update @ 7:33 PM. Not a single SBS NG was out today. In fact, the only NG out today on the S79 SBS was 4054 which is now on the S44. Guess they're giving those buses a rest.
  5. They stopped train work for this weekend so the train is running on normal headways. Because of that service has been reverted back to it's normal weekend service pattern (ending at Essex Street) and the B91A has been put on hold for this weekend.
  6. The S79 SBS is all 100% 2019 LFSs now at 9:39 AM. No NGs in sight.
  7. Ok, so all of the NYCT routes don't have a route map line on the BusTime app and show a black line on the website. SMH.
  8. I've been noticing that on Saturdays, there are random S74 trips not on the schedule that go from the ETC to the Bricktown Mall. These trips are usually covered by Yukon. Does anyone have more information about this?
  9. Only on Hylan north of Lincoln Ave and for a section on Richmond from Forest Hill Road to the SI Mall. The ones on Hylan are only peak hours, peak direction. The S79 is basically a limited and since the SBS wraps are getting discontinued that doesn't help either.
  10. It's all because of some greedy politicians that want to drive their cars around. So I guess the M14 SBS is now another S79 SBS with no bus lanes. Thanks so much for running buses😒 What a stupid A** hole, the cars and trucks that are bustling down the street now have more soot than just these buses down 14th Street. How dumb can politicians be?
  11. BusTime now shows you if seats are available on the express buses.
  12. 8164, the first non-Castleton LFS bus with the new fonts and have working side and rear signs.
  13. One more thing I've noticed about the SIM23/24 routes. As well as not being on BusTime, GTFS data doesn't exist for those route. According to Google maps, those routes don't exist, which discourages ridership even more.
  14. Guess they are pooling the S79 fleet with the local fleet.
  15. I should, do I just file a complaint from their website?
  16. Random thought: Some of the GTFS data for some SI routes is wrong. Here are some examples. BusTime also shows all of these errors so it's even worse. 1. The S90 LTD is shown making all local stops west of Park Ave, however, that's not the case. LTD stop service continues to South Ave. 2. The S94 LTD has a LTD stop at Lafayette/Richmond Terrace, however GTFS data only shows that the S44 stops there (This is also reflected on the screens on the S94, not showing that stop). 3. The WB S96 LTD shows the Castleton/Brighton stop, even though it doesn't stop there (This is also reflected on the screens on the S96). 4. The first NB stop on the S89 LTD is shown with the S59 and S79 SBS, even though it should be where the S54 is. So if people uses google maps to use one of these routes, they are out of luck.
  17. I don't see anything on the news about this but I guess the bus is going to be scraped, before the delivery is complete.
  18. Does anyone know the status of 8607? It's been OOS for weeks.
  19. It might not even have those SBS stickers on the door, remember that the for the S79 "SBS" you pay on the bus like the other buses. They might just pool the S79 fleet with the other local fleet, which they already do to an extent. 4/5 times whenever I board a S79, it's an LFS. In the end, the warping doesn't really matter. (And it also reduces costs since you don't need to pay people to warp buses when they could be doing something else more important.)
  20. IMO fare evasion should be treated the same way as shoplifting. Not paying the fare is basically stealing from the and should be delt with accordingly. Just like shoplifting, fare evasion should go on someone's criminal record. If someone knew that if you got caught for fare evasion it'll be much harder to find a good job or even get accepted into a good school, people would be less inclined to do so.
  21. 4263 is back in service after that incident on Friday.
  22. That was quick, 8590 is now on the S79 SBS.
