  1. Was at JFK today. I got a pic of 5390,5391, and 5394 in the new paint (coming later tonight). Can you get in trouble for going into that lot and taking pics of the buses? I didn't go in mainly because I didn't know how they would've felt about me going in there and taking pics. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. That's actually quite common. You'll see at least one during rush hour everyday.
  3. Forest Hills-71 Av is where the and turn around. In order to turn around they have to use both express tracks to get to the Westbound side. That's probably why they slow down there.
  4. This is one reason why I believe every Bronx garage should be at least 75% artics/25% standards. Most of these routes are getting more crowded by the day.
  5. That's good to know. Hopefully the other Washington Heights lines will be that way too. I don't think it's unnecessary at all. I've seen the Bx36 crowds. I've always wondered why they don't run artics on that line frequently.
  6. I suppose so, but I've only seen one artic on the Bx36 at most during rush hours. That's why this looks odd to me.
  7. I think WF has 6033. I saw it on the Bx35 not too long ago. Scratch that it's a loaner from KB. I remember seeing the KB decals on it. That probably explains why I saw 5938 working the Bx36 today. EDIT: After checking BusTime there's a few other artics on the 36 as well. 5636, 5674, 5734, and 5945.
  8. That's business as usual on the M101 fam. You can blame the folks who take their sweet time getting on the bus (excluding the elderly), asking questions and whatnot.
  9. I feel like that would make overcrowding in the Bronx much worse than it already is.
  10. TransitMan lol....I'm 19 now . Both branches go to Woodbridge Mall on the weekends IINM. However I will say, the Carteret branch did a lot better in terms of ridership compared to the Iselin-Metropark branch.
  11. I saw a few people from the 48 transfer to the 62 but that was about it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. From Woodbridge Mall. I've been on both branches. The Carteret branch had heavier ridership both times I rode it.
  13. Last time I rode it the whole way, it was crowded until it got near Elizabeth.
  14. Today's my birthday y'all :D

  15. The didn't only have problems in Brooklyn today. There was a rail condition at 116th St on CPW that messed up the also. It took 20-30 minutes to go from 96th-125th. This was a little bit after 2:00pm.
  16. It should be running them always. Not just on occasion. I honestly don't understand why it's not at least an 80% artic line. They would save a lot of money by making it one because that's less drivers you have to pay to follow each other for the whole route.
  17. Sleep deprivation will do that to you. I know because it happened to me. I hadn't got much sleep one night last year, and when I went to catch the Bx15 the next morning, I could've sworn I saw SBS machines at the bus stop.
  18. Thanks for all the feedback guys. I had at first planned to leave the split at The Hub, call it the M105 or something, and leave it at that but with the and on Lenox and Lexington, I didn't think it would work too well with all three lines right there at the Hub.
  19. I may be in the minority here, but I think the Bx15 needs to be split. One idea I had was to make the Hub - Manhattanville portion into it's own route and leave the Hub - Fordham Plaza as the Bx15. I was gonna say extend the former to Wakefield-241, but I realized it wouldn't work because of the . So I figured, why not send it to Pelham Bay? We can call it the Bx61. Here's the routing: Normal route to the Hub Right on 149th Street Left on Prospect, then go up to 160th Right on the fork onto Westchester Av. Left on Hoe Ave, then a right onto West Farms At West Farms Square, right onto East Tremont Left onto Morris Park Ave then continue until Eastchester Left on Eastchester Right on Stillwell Then when it gets to Pelham Pkwy, it follows the Bx12 to Pelham Bay. This is my first proposal so any feedback is welcome.
  20. Would it be possible to get an XD40/60 sign for the following? Bx15: WEST HARLEM followed by LIMITED 12 AV M100: INWOOD followed by VIA BROADWAY 220 ST VIA AMSTERDAM M103: CITY HALL followed by via LEX AV Thank you!
  21. Thank you for catching that. I seem to be getting these two airports mixed up lately, I don't know why.... Just like KB's D60s and XD60s, they're seldom running on the M100.
  22. Oops, I meant to type "is WF or GH gonna get the D60HFs from LGA". Just noticed that. But either way, that's interesting. I still don't understand why the Bx36 isn't at least a 75% artic route knowing how crowded it gets.
  23. Pardon me if this has been asked before, but when LGA gets all of their XD60s, is it gonna be West Farms or Gun Hill who gets them? I'm kinda hoping it'll be West Farms so they can be used on the Bx15 and Bx36 where IMO they're needed the most.
  24. Hey can you make this for me please? R160 side sign: FAR ROCKAWAY via JFK AIRPORT 8 AV/FULTON EXP Thanks
