  1. Hi Gorgor! Sorry to bother you. Here is a beautiful official 1974 subway map I found online. Shows the cover, the full map, Manhattan, Brooklyn and the 1974 subway service guide. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

  2. Hi! While I was searching for "subway service change posters" and "subway fails", I came across that Brittney Crush (E)(F) poster at this site:

It didn't seem dirty or offensive, just unusual so I figured I post it to see the reactions and obviously it's nothing to do with the (E) and (F) so I figured our Off Topic Lounge was best.

Honestly, I'm not sure if this is a male or female or even a real person.

    Have a wonderful day,

  3. Hi! According to the M.T.A. the B7 is not operating yet says the B7 is operating with delays and reroutes. Serious.

  5. Hi Jon: I honestly can see your virtual rollsign simulators now and I must say you do excellent work. I saw you have an R16 front in your subway stuff page and I'm stuck between the 70(EE) 70(E) and (TT). Very classy work! Thank you for sharing these.

  6. Hi Fresh Pond! I'm sorry about your day today. May I ask where you work (store, restaurant, office)? Also I like your handle.

    Have a wonderful day,

  10. Hi NX Express! I'm sorry about my gaffe, but if a person is transferring from the (S) Lefferts Boulevard Shuttle to the (A), don't you think it's a little better to transfer at Rockaway Boulevard than to wait until Euclid Avenue? Maybe a little better chance of getting a seat, if nothing else?

    Have a wonderful day.

P.S. The (T) has been here: it was here from 1964-1967. :P

  11. Hi Roadcruiser1, lol In your interesting post about a Jamaica El rehab, I think you meant third track as the Jamaica El already carries two third rails. And yes, there is provision that a third track could be added. I believe opposition prevented this from happening.

  12. Hi Trainmaster5! Do you remember the old 70(K) service? What was the service like toward the end?

    Thanks,

  13. Hi! Do you think an S89-type route between Staten Island and Elizabeth or between Staten Island and Perth Amboy might work?

    Thanks,

    70(EE)

  14. Hi Rell! Thank you! Alt and 3. Is Caps Lock the same as number lock? (I don't appear to have a number lock key).

    Thanks,

    70(EE)

  15. Hi! NX Express, Do you have any favorite locomotives like E-5, F-9, GP-35, SD-40, Hudson Steam Locomotive, Pacific Steam Locomotive and do you have a favorite freight/passenger railroad?

    Thanks,

    70(EE)

  16. How are you, Messino? Are you okay?

  17. Hi LRG! How is your day? I just want to say I admire you. You've stuck with the (V) and R40 Slants and that's great! I also enjoy your posts, especially in the Random Thoughts thread.

    Have a wonderful day,

  18. Hi RTOMan! How is your day? Just curious, do you know Railman718, Northeastern Train Operator or Train Dude?

    Have a wonderful day!

  19. Hi R44 CNG, Much thanks! If you could, please: Whitehall 71 Ave-Continental Ave 70(EE) ? No special preference: Whitehall or 71 Ave-Continental Ave can be the top sign. Thank you,

    70(EE)

  20. Hi R44 CNG, Could you possibly make a small inside sign similiar to the one in your signature, if I ask politely and be patient?

  21. Hi 553 Bridgeton! I like your new Bus Operator (NJT) Title! Harry and Zach seem to be redesigning the Member area of posts and the styling of our profiles. I like it; yours reminds me of a typewriter.

  22. Hi metsfan, The New York Times says a (7)<7> tunnel from West 34th Street would cost about $5.3 million and Secaucus is being looked because of a connection with NJ Transit. If you look at Google Maps, such a tunnel would come out at approximately between 19th Street and Lincoln Harbor HBLR. Next problem: tunneling under Weehawken, Union City, North Bergen and the Meadowlands. I'm not sure from the article if Secaucus would be the only station, but there really isn't much between there and Lincoln Harbor except for maybe Kennedy Boulevard or Bergenline Avenue.

  23. Hi! Have you seen that the (F) is in two sections: 179th Street to Euclid Avenue and Church Avenue to Coney Island; there is no (F) or (G) between Jay Street-Borough Hall/Hoyt-Schmerhorn Streets and Church Avenue and the (C) is 168th Street-WTC this weekend? Also (5) trains are every 20.

  24. Hi! The one you posted in a visitor message to MTR Admiralty on June 10th. It caught my eye. :P
