  1. My list number is 6X but, I was put on hold cause my license wasn't 3 years old. It's good now and when I called she said they're waiting for approval for more classes.
  2. It's not possible whatsoever http://www.twulocal100.org/sites/twulocal100.org/files/trackworker_seniority_list_june_2018_0.pdf As you can see the highest number on the seniority list is 3459. You can check your buddies name if it's on there and see what his list number is.
  3. You can keep on eye on this website, https://data.cityofnewyork.us/City-Government/Bus-Operator-Conductor-Track-Worker-Certifications/pjqi-8psc
  4. Does anyone have the direct line for the woman in charge of hiring off 9100? Edit: Got in contact, Feburary 3rd class is full, she said call back in 3 weeks when they get approval for more classes.
  5. You don't need a license for this position but, if you have one they will run it to ensure you have no outstanding tickets. That being said I'm not too sure if you need to transfer over state to state, I'd wait till they call you and go ask them.
  6. According to the seniority list the highest number appointed from the list was 3459 but, that was as of June 2018.
  7. They had no intention of hiring off of 3600 past September. Couple of people posted that they heard numerous rumors that September was the last class. I wouldn't be surprised they extended 3600 cause 8600 wasn't graded in time the list expired. So they ended up extending 3600 just to have a list and then once it expired they came out with 8600. This is pure speculation but, it makes the most sense.
  8. The city has to legally offer a promotional exam to those that are eligible before an open competitive. Rail Road Track Cleaner is one of those titles that was slowly being phased out over time but, since a X amount of people are still under that title, every time a open competitive exam comes out for Track, they have to offer a promotional one. 8704 was not published or established since no one actually took that test. We're next up lol.
  9. Keep an eye on this link https://data.cityofnewyork.us/City-Government/Bus-Operator-Conductor-Track-Worker-Certifications/pjqi-8psc Whenever Transit requests a batch of candidates for Track, we'll know from this site. We'll be able to see how many vacancies and how many names they pulled. We should see a batch of names being pulled within the next few weeks in my opinion. Depending on the amount of vacancies and so forth, keep in mind there hasn't been a class since September 2018, so whoever fired/retired/quit/promoted and or got demoted between now and then, they haven't been replaced.
  10. Oh yeah for sure, last list they went into the 3000s, so you'll get a call for sure.
  11. Kind of lol, depends on your job at the railroad. You can always move to a different position if you so choose to, plus you have RR retirement, the city will give you T6 63/10.
  12. LIST ESTABLISHED, CHECK THE CIVIL SERVICE DATABASE GOOD LUCK BROS https://data.cityofnewyork.us/City-Government/Civil-Service-List-Active-/vx8i-nprf/data
  13. They just had a class go in on the 6th off exam 7300.
  14. When you go if you could find out the next class date por favor
  15. My boy got called for PE for the 21st, his list number is 8xx
  16. Call again cause you should've been in a class like earlier this year.
  17. What's your list number ranger? One of my co-workers with a 7XXX just got a letter to come into a physical and he scored way below 104.5
  18. They rarely update the terminated list, last time it was updated was November 1st, also they can't extend 3600 since it expired.
  19. Exam 3600 expired as of today with no new list being published yet from 8600 or the promotional 8704. Wondering how long it will take till they publish one.
  20. Full Time, the exam title would've specified if it was part time or not. Also with the new pending MTA contract all part time operating titles were squashed.
  21. Yes, they did extend the list till 2021 according to the civil service open data list.
  22. Honestly, if you have any write ups at work they may use it against you. If you really did leave on good terms then no, they won't try and mess with you.
  23. Went down there, filled out some paperwork. I was 2nd in line with the jacket and glasses, got a paper saying to come back when my license is 3 years old which is in Feburary, so a short wait.
