What's incorrect about saying diesel engines have slower acceleration than EMUs? That's a fact. These is the same LIRR that has refused for decades to electrify the Port Jefferson and Oyster Bay lines. And they want to buy those new diesel engines and only 20 new coaches. They also cancelled that BEMU project.

They are looking at 90-01 168th Street for the new site, which is the parking lot between 90th and 91st Avenues, and 168th and 169th Streets. This is right behind Marshalls and Reymour Flannigan. This will actually be closer to the train that 165th Street was. Looks like Jamaica Avenue and Hillside buses will come up 168th and go down 169th.

The are in a bit of a sh*tshow right now. There was both a track fire and a train with mechanical problems at Chambers Street, along with a train with emergency brakes activated for a person who needed medical help at West 4th Street (that is what is written). MTA just says avoid these lines.

West 8th Street, Sheepshead Bay, Kings Highway, and Beverley Road are also pretty good stations on the Brighton. On the West End, 9th Avenue is a must. 18th Avenue is pretty good, although I fan the Brighton way more, so I can't speak for other West End stops. 34th Street-Herald Square has enough space on specific ends. It gets harder with the 1/2/3/4/5/6 because the platforms are almost exactly the same length as the trains. I do think South Ferry has decent space.
