Far Rock Depot Posted September 13, 2009 Share #2 Posted September 13, 2009 i would assume its for a GO requiring L trains to terminate at Atlantic. Most likely from Canarsie
Cait Sith Posted September 13, 2009 Share #3 Posted September 13, 2009 Probably a Conductor/Train Operator or Yard Worker messing around.
LRG Posted September 13, 2009 Share #4 Posted September 13, 2009 On the schedule, it lists that some trains short-turn at Atlantic.

MattTrain Posted September 14, 2009 Share #7 Posted September 14, 2009 I don't find the reading to Atlantic Avenue strange, it can be the terminal during GOs.

BroadwayBuffer Posted September 14, 2009 Share #9 Posted September 14, 2009 The only other program I've seen is the to Myrtle–Wycoff which was either during a GO or some other problem. It also included "BKLYN LOCAL" on the sidesigns.
R62A 1991 Posted September 14, 2009 Share #10 Posted September 14, 2009 The only other program I've seen is the to Myrtle–Wycoff which was either during a GO or some other problem. It also included "BKLYN LOCAL" on the sidesigns. The R160As put "14 St Local" instead of "Bklyn Local" when going to Myrtle-Wyckoff. I find that interesting. But, yeah, I've been on an R143 during the day going to Atlantic.
Fresh Pond Posted September 15, 2009 Share #11 Posted September 15, 2009 Believe it or not, there is a sign for it to go to Jefferson St. I found it during the G.O to Lorimer St and I'll post it up soon.
