I wouldn't get my hopes up on seeing anymore of them, not because I don't care for em, but because no money is coming towards the MTA's way to bail them out from stopping these cuts so what makes anyone think they can get money for ordering trains? That too. Whatever happens in the future cannot be fully and accurately predicted now. So whatever happens, happens and we shall wait and see. I doubt myself that there's going to be a third order. Or something like that. There is. The R160s were brought through bonds (at least the base order was). The remainder were bought through the capital programs, through the (MTA)'s capital budget (base order was also out of the capital budget, as are all new cars). They still have to reprogramme everything anyway, because the transfers and announcements have to be up-to-date with the new service changes that are coming up. I recorded a video of an R42 train and some idiot commented on every single R42 video lashing out negativity because I like R42s and he doesn't.
