Went down there with a friend of mine who is Mexican and we took a wrong turn driving.. The cops acted like we were doing somethign illegal.. Had to payem off to let us go cause they threatened to keep us in jail for the weekend for driving down the wrong street....You have to pay someone off all the time. This is why the drug gangs rule that country not the govt... Maybe when they can keep their own people safe, eliminate most of the corruption and restore order they will have a right to compain about the cartoon but as of right now.. Within many of us there is a sense of "dual citizenship;" we're Americans, but we're also something else. When someone says something offensive about Americans, these people will default to their non-American identity and not even feel offended. Yeah but you cant bribe cops here like you can over there. Thats where most of the lawlesness comes from.. Jokes are fine, but you have to be an insider to make a joke IMO. Some foreign country makes a joke about America you stand up for America.
