Abba Posted November 11, 2010 Share #1 Posted November 11, 2010 Didit ever happen that you were on a train and it switched the wrong way i.e(2) southbound lands at nostrand instead of President. And what would they do? Stop the train and investigate.or just proceed to thenext terminal which in the case would be either New lots or Utica?

Daniel The Cool Posted November 11, 2010 Share #4 Posted November 11, 2010 Yeah. The I was on ran on the one time to W 4th Street. Instead of switching to 6th Avenue it accidentally goes to Spring Street. We ended up going to the After Jay Street

Usually there is a reason for a train going a different route, if there is no reason then it's called taking a "wrong line-up". Usually the only investigating that's done is the T/O calling command center to explain why the wrong route was given. Sometimes, when a new pick takes effect, there are a number of "wrong line-ups" because it maybe a while since a T/O operated over a certain route. FamousNYLover Posted November 13, 2010 Share #8 Posted November 13, 2010 I remember on during weekend G.O, when there was single shuttle bus at Bedford Park Blvd, Bedford Park Blvd-bound took wrong track, and last half car was in rear, and first half car was on track, and we had to be evacuated through the car to station platform.
