Why do you say that? I don't see how this would affect anything. If this does go through, Grand Av. will run all local service during the weekdays, and Fresh Pond would run all LTD service. It's the same reason as to why the both have NTTs...what if there is a lack of limiteds (or Metro branch buses, or buses from one depot as opposed to another)? I just see it as being able to work because the north branch is local, and the south branch is limited. The routes can still interline at their respective depots. It's not always a necessity to interline or have flexability as long as all bases are covered. If something happens on one of the branches where traffic is held, dispatch can have the drvers tu ot short turns to facilitate the local or LTD service that is affected.
