Hi,

I'm new here. I'm from Barcelona (Spain) and I'm planning to go to New York to work some time soon. I have a couple of job offers: One at Morris Park (Bronx) and the other one at NYU (Manhattan). I like them both but I have to make my mind for one and the only thing that makes the difference is the area in which they are located. NYU is very centric and well communicated but I really don't know how far Morris Park is (in terms of time and public transport services) from the city center. Anyone could help me?

Morris Park is a station on the in the bronx. My dad works at NYU. You can take the train to 14th st for NYU try to avoid 3-5pm in the afternoon.

Welcome aboard, The BxM10 goes from Manhattan to Morris Park.

The and can get you there. The neighborhood is mostly Italian and Spanish with a small mix of a few more. Overall the neighborhood is nice safe neighborhood. The ride into Manhattan is about 45 minutes to an hour. I almost moved out there once.

To answer your question, yes, I'd take the if I were going from Morris Park to lower Manhattan. It takes about 45 minutes or so.
